As Skye turned off the autopilot from her helicopter, she called down to Chase. "Chase! Can you hook Marshall into the harness?" She asked quickly, what Everest said to Chase bouncing around in her head, if she didn't hurry, Marshall could suffer a lot because of hypothermia and frostbite, he's only showing warning signs for now, but they had to hurry.

Hearing Skye, Chase picked up the freezing Marshall by the scruff of the young pups neck and used his forelegs to attach the harness around the spotted pup. "O-okay, Skye, Marshall is in the harness, you're good to go" he called out as the harness clicked.

"Thanks Chase, by the way, are you and Everest going to head back to the lookout?" Skye asked, confused about what Chase and Everest would do right now.

Everest and Chase looked at each other, then Skye and then Everest's snowcat before Everest wagged her tail faster than she ever had and spoke up. "Chase, let's head back to the lookout but let's try and have a bit of fun despite the situation," Everest offered and Chase nearly instantly jumped into the snowcat, waiting for Everest to hop in as well.

As Everest hopped in, Chase replied to Skye as well. "Skye, I think you need to start heading to Katie's, we'll be fine" he reassured as Skye began to fly off.

Beginning to fly to Katie's, Skye made sure to call Ryder again, just to verify if Katie knew what was going on yet. "Ryder, does Katie know I'm on my way? I have Marshall in my harness and I'm heading to town right now," she asked, the pups were in the dark about what the plan to help Marshall is, but Skye waited for a reply before continuing.

Ryder took a moment to respond, but he simply said. "Skye, I'm telling Katie now, she'll be ready before you get there I promise," Ryder reassured the aviator pup before she spoke again.

"Understood Ryder, Chase and Everest are heading back to the lookout in Everest's snowcat too." Skye mentioned, making Ryder relieved that the pups made these plans while he and Rocky worked on Marshall's truck.

Skye then cut communications, and Ryder came out from under the fire truck, a bit of oil on his face from the work. "Rocky, I'll be right back okay? I need to speak to Katie, I trust you to keep working on this until I get back, it's only going to be a minute or two" Ryder told Rocky as he went over to his food and water bowl, Ryder had brought it to the garage so Rocky wouldn't need to make trips for food and water. Rocky ate all his food and drank a good amount of water before replying.

"Sounds good Ryder, I'll just wait for you to come back to the garage" Rocky replied as Ryder walked outside of the garage, using a hand towel to wipe the oil off of his face.

As he walked outside of the garage, it was beginning to become the afternoon and it was a nice bright day in Adventure Bay, despite the stressful situation the Paw Patrol was in because of Marshall being trapped on the mountain. Ignoring this for now, Ryder pulled out his pup pad and scrolled to Katie's icon, pressing it, Ryder waited for Katie to respond, hoping she would.

Katie had been trying, and failing, to give Cali a bath, when suddenly her phone started ringing, surprising her when she saw it was from Ryder. Hoping everything was okay, she set Cali down on a towel as the cat removed the water from her fur to pick up her phone. "Hey Ryder, Katie here. What's up?" She asked, hoping everything was alright while bracing for the worst.'

Ryder winced for a second, not knowing how Katie would take this, but she had to know. "Well Katie, we need you to get set up to treat potential hypothermia and frostbite in one of our dogs" Ryder said, bracing for Katie to freak out. But she never did, she simply kept the call on, holding as straight a face as she could as she asked some questions that Ryder would reply to.

"How long were they exposed to these freezing temperatures?" Katie first asked, knowing that was extremely important to ask.

"Around three hours but once their truck got stuck they went into a cave and preserved their heat until they were found, they stayed there likely around two and a half hours." Ryder replied, hoping Marshall would be okay when he got down there.

"Thanks Ryder, now who should I be expecting at the clinic?" Katie asked with a short smile on her face as she heard Skye's helicopter outside.

Ryder looked out towards Adventure Bay, Skye's helicopter was right over Katie's parking lot with Marshall in the harness. "Skye has Marshall in her harness, he had been heading to Jake and Everest to speak to them but got caught in the blizzard, that's when he went to a cave on the mountain" Ryder said as he heard Katie disconnect the call.

Katie ran outside of her clinic as she disconnected the call, she ran to her parking lot and, just like Ryder said, Skye was there in her helicopter with Marshall in its harness, shivering and likely passed out. Realizing she had to act fast, she went up to Skye's helicopter as she lowered the harness and waited for Katie to grab onto Marshall before releasing the harness.

"Okay Skye, I'm holding onto Marshall, you can release the harness" Katie said as the harness released and Marshall slumped into her arms, he was breathing but he was visibly extremely cold, frostbite and hypothermia hadn't set in yet but he was close. "Skye feel free to land your helicopter in the parking lot and come inside, the other pups and Ryder can come as well, I'll probably need some help, okay?"

Skye took a moment to respond but as she landed her helicopter, she jumped out while doing a backflip and landed behind Katie, who was still carrying a passed out, freezing Marshall.

Inside of the clinic, it all looked normal but Katie put Marshall in a warm bath first, lightly stroking his neck and back while he was passed out. Skye did feel the need to ask what she could do. "Katie, is there something I can do right now while you watch over Marshall while he's passed out?" Skye asked, hoping she could do something to help Marshall. Katie scrubbed Marshall's fur as she thought of a reply, removing some mud stains from his fur as she replied she looked softly at Skye, smiling lightly despite everything.

"Honestly Skye, I think it would be best for you to call the other pups and Ryder, they'll want to be here when I Marshall on a bed so he can truly rest, because right now his body is passed out from exhaustion and how cold it definitely was on the mountain" Katie explained as Skye walked out as she pressed her pup tag to call Ryder, she gave herself a bit of reassurance as she waited for Ryder to pick up.

"Skye, you've got this, Marshall is going to be okay and we'll find out what's on his mind, I swear I will if it's the last thing I do!" She said as she did three backflips in a row, doing gymnastics was also Skye's favorite thing to do outside of missions and her small size and nimble movement always made Pup Pup Boggie a blast.

Unknown to Skye though, a figure had been watching her and Katie from the tree line for the past thirty minutes, and lightly spoke into a radio. "Hey, Boss? Yeah, it's me, I saw one of your old dogs go into this clinic, there's another pup outside talking about a Marshall being okay, I think that's the one. Where am I? This town in the sticks called Adventure Bay. Yeah I'll send you the GPS, we'll get your dogs back" they lightly said as the radio transmission cut and Skye walked back into the clinic, still waiting for Ryder to pick up on her call about him and the pups coming down to Katie's.

Alright! There's Chapter 5, Ryder and the pups will be visiting Marshall tomorrow and the main plot of the prequel will start going forward! I hope you guys are excited!
