— 020 ☆ twentieth chapter.
after the dance, the school year practically flew by in the blink of an eye. spring finals had just finished up, as well as the sports' seasons. and before they knew it, the school was being let off for their regular three month break.
yeosang and seonghwa had been together for a couple of months now, and things couldn't have been more perfect. they had replaced woosan as the grossest couple — which wooyoung was still salty about by the way — but not that their friends minded though.
hongjoong's parents invited all of the boys to stay at their beach house for a part of the summer break, of course they agreed with the permission of their parents.
"last one in the pool is a rotten egg!" yunho yelled as he ran towards the pool and dove right in, immediately followed by the other boys.
"aren't we a little too old for this game?" seonghwa chuckled, walking slowly towards the edge of the pool, to where his boyfriend was seated.
"fun has no age limit, seonghwa." wooyoung replied back monotonously, and all the others seemed to quickly agree with him.
san playfully splashed some water into his boyfriend's face after his comment, creating a big splash fight in between everybody in the pool. seonghwa and yeosang just ignored their friends for the moment.
"are you having fun, babe?"
"of course. i can't imagine anything better than this." the blonde smiled widely as he dropped his head onto the other's shoulder.
seonghwa chuckled, "you're right. what could be better than starting off summer break with a beach trip with my friends and my lovely boyfriend?"
"you're such a flirt." yeosang shoved his lover playfully as his face turned a bright shade of pink.
"only for you." the black haired male pulled him closer in response.
"i would hope so-" yeosang's sentence was cut off when he and seonghwa received a face full of water from no one other than jongho.
"come join our game you lovebirds!" mingi said, quite annoyed. but they knew he meant no harm.
"you're on!"

after many games of chicken, marco-polo, water volleyball, and practically any other pool game, the sun finally began to set, and it seemed as if the group was getting tired as well.
the friends had decided on ordering pizza that night, so they all entered the house to make sure hongjoong added the right toppings on the right pizzas.
seonghwa gently wrapped a towel around his boyfriend's shoulders who was too busy watching the sunset to notice that everyone had already went inside.
"look at how beautiful it is." yeosang said dreamily as he watched all of the colors and hues mesh together as the sun appeared to set lower into the horizon.
"it is... really beautiful." seonghwa replied, obviously focused on the person beside him rather than the sun or the sky at the moment.
"i love you." the older blurted out. yeosang turned around and looked at his partner, shock evident on his face from the sudden confession.
"damn. did i say that out loud?" he chuckled awkwardly as he rubbed his nape.
"look, yeosang. i know it's still quite early and you might not feel the same way but-"
they sure were getting cut off an awful lot today, because yeosang interrupted his sentence with a kiss.
"i love you too, seonghwa." the blonde answered back quickly after the kiss.
yeosang clung onto his boyfriend's side as they turned back to watch the final moments of the sunset.
when they first met each other, they both were too afraid that their personalities would clash. they just appeared to be too different from each other. in the beginning they would've never guessed that their lives would've been able to fit together perfectly; like a puzzle. it seemed as if opposites really did attract.
and although it was just the beginning of their relationship, they both felt as if they had been together for years. their love could only get stronger for one another as time passed by.
"uhm, not to interrupt this sweet moment, but what toppings do you guys like on your pizza?"
