(Y/N's POV)
Finally, I am going to meet my new family today. I am overall nervous rather than excited because I never wanted this thing to happen. I am not at all comfortable with this idea of having a new family, but for mom's sake I am gonna keep my mouth shut. My 10% mind is just curious to see those siblings because I never had a sibling and I think it's fun to have siblings.
"Y/N are you ready yet?? We are running out of time." Mom called out to me.
"Not yet mom, I will just take a few minutes more." I said.
"Okay, hurry up darling! I am waiting for you near the car." Mom told me.
I was wearing an elegant yet simple looking dress, with my face dolled up and hair curled up because it is my soon-to-be-stepdad's birthday party tonight.. Whatever. I am just going there for snacks.
After an hour...
My mother and I have arrived at the mansion, and holy crap, this family is wealthy as heck. No, I'm not a gold digger, I told myself. The event decorations were very magnificent, and everything was of the highest possible quality. Many powerful figures were also present at the party, sipping cocktails and engaging in serious business discussions.
I was too busy observing the surroundings that is when my mom brought me back from my thoughts by nudging me.
