"It's been a while, much too long. Don't you think Carmina?"

I scoff crossing my arms as I stare into Lucus's eyes, they were hard and unwelcoming, which I found to be a direct correlation to his personality. While Lucus thought I hadn't been in his presence for much too long, I thought that the time we had spent apart had been short. Lucus and I would still be in two different headspaces, not worrying about the other, if he could leave Reign alone.

By the looks of how comfortable Reign was fitted into the side of Lucus's torso, while his arm was carelessly thrown around her shoulder my request for them not to see each other any longer would be denied.

"I would have to say I disagree Lucus; I could have gone the rest of my life without seeing you ever again," I respond shifting my eyes to my baby sister as she visuably flinched at my harsh words.

She opened her mouth to reprimand my words, but Reign quickly closed it again thinking better of replying to me. Lucus, on the other hand, choice to cackle at my words bringing a wine glass full of a dark liquid up to his lips.

"That's unforunate that you feel that way," Lucus finally says.

I clear my throat, as I sign that I was about to speak. Almost immediately all eyes were on me again. "If you could just release my sister, then we will be on our way."

Once again Lucus feels as if the correct response would be to laugh at me as his gruff voice decides to put his cackling into undeniable words.

"I'm afraid that won't be possible," Lucus replies. My eyebrows quirk up at his response on their own accord and before I could find my own voice to express my confusion Reign speaks up for the first time.

"Why don't you take a sit Carmina? Lucus and I have some news to share with you- we weren't planning on sharing it with you so soon but now seems to be as good a time as any."

I don't verbally respond, afraid that my voice my crack under the pressure that I felt, but I nod my head in encouragement although I was afraid of the next words to be spoken.

What announcement could Reign and Lucus possibly tell me? Before anyone could utter another word I make a silent promise to myself that if Lucus knocked her up and baby sister was now baring his child that I would kill him- painfully and slowly- just like he did to Emma.

The thought was comforting despite the gruesome nature.

"You're most likely not aware of the fact, but your sister and I have been dating for months now. And in my opinion Reign and I have been getting on famously," Lucus states straightening up in his seat before taking a glance over at my sister.

Her eyes were already glued to him, so when they're gazes met it wasn't a surprise. However Reign's lit up and a small smile tugged at the corner of her lips before Lucus swiftly leaned over and planted a firm kiss to her flushed cheek.

"Is that right Reign?" I question curiously not buying to Lucus's bullshit.

I wasn't perfect, and I never claimed to be but I am not the kind to hang around the leader of The Shadows. At the mention of her name, my sister looks up her doting eyes becoming remorseful as she took a look at me. Instantly she looked away and melted even further into Lucus's embrace.

Vile threatened to crawl up my throat as I see Lucus's hands wander up my sister's thighs. The sight was disgusting and repulsive. My hands tightened into fists at their own accord, but I try my best not to show my furiousity.

A tight black dress with a plunging neckline and cut outs adnored my sister's figure, showing off all of her assets. I recongized the dress as a missing addition to my cloest- the dress had been purchased for me by some of my friends at work that way I would have the correct attire for a party that Forsaken was hosting. A sixteen year old should not be parading in clothing like that, especially around grown men that could take advantage of her at any time they wished.
