"Lighten up Carmina," Lucus chuckles as I stare daggers at him. In an attempt to get Lucus to behave approciately, Reign elbows him the stomach and gives him a warning glare. He sighs but apologizes anyways.

Apparently Reign didn't see his apology fitting so she proceeded to do it herself. "I'm sorry Carmina, this was the only way Lucus and I could have gotten you here. We didn't think you'd come any other way," Reign speaks.

"Your probably right," I mumble under my breath, as I fight to regain my senses. Lucus did not just order his men to come kidnap off the side of the road for nothing. Something was going on here, and I desperately needed to find out what.

Instead of doing some sneaky detective work I decide to go with the easier alternative of just asking. "You obviously wanted me here for a reason, so what did you want?" Reign beems at my question looking over at Lucus. He nods his head once before my sister turns back to face me.

"We have some exciting news to share with you; we wanted to tell you that night you came down to Hidden Spaces, but Lucus had some business emergency to attend to, and we wanted to be together when delivering the news," Reign explains.

Her long winded explanation only makes me more curious as each second passes by.

"I asked for your sister's hand in marriage and she so graciously agreed to be my wife," Lucus states. "But only with your consent of course."

I stand rooted to the spot, praying that I heard Lucus incorrectly. "Come again," I demand my voice rough with blant concern for my youngest and only living sister.

"I'm marrying Lucus," Reign repeats, shortening Lucus's previous speech.

"No your not," I say, blinking in shock at the couple several times. Reign was only sixteen for crying out loud- she shouldn't be married or even engaged at this point. Most teenagers her age were hooking up with random people on a nightly basis.

I had always warned Reign from sleeping with guys, like farmers herded sheep, but compared to this alternative, a different guy every night mantra wasn't looking so bad.

"Carmina," Reign drowned, carrying out the last syallable of my name for several seconds. Her lips were slightly pouted as she stared up at me: it was her signature puppy dog face. Only this time it wasn't going to work.

She would not get married at sixteen, especially to a gang member at that. My body would have to be burried six feet underground, for Reign to say the words "I do" infront of a legally ordained pastor and officially become Mrs. Reign Gage.

I just wasn't having it and judging by the look on Lucus's face he already knew it.

"You said you wanted my blessing right?" I question looking from Reign to Lucus, and then back to Reign again. Both of them muttered an answer, which were both positive. "Well I'm not okay with this, so you will never get my blessing."

My words seem to wound Reign more so than Lucus, he looked cool and collected by his stance and steady breathing. On the other hand Reign either wanted to ripped my head off and feed it to Hoax or burst into a puddle of tears. Thankfully she did neither, rather just laying her head on Lucus's chest while he attempted to calm her with soothing strokes on her arm and the occassional kiss on her forehead.

"If you have ever acted more like mom, then it would be right now," Reign hisses. Our mother was a very strong and brave soul, so I took my sister's words as a compliment, although it wasn't meant to warm my heart. Instead it was suppose to make me feel worse, and make me surrender to Reign's will. She didn't know it yet, but she was about to find out.

"Well if you want to start comparing me to people I can do the same to you," I sass crossing my arms over my chest, in what I knew to be a defensive mechinism. "Your acting just like Emma- your being reckless, staying out all night, and now your apparently engaged to Lucus. That's just fine, if you want to end up just like her, burried six feet underground before the age of 23."

"Go," Reign hiccups wiping a tear from her cheek. Her voice was so low that I could barely make out the two letter word that fell from her slightly chapped lips. It was apparent that I had upset Reign with my comments about relating her sitution to Emma's. Now I'm wishing that I hadn't been so harsh with my words, but she needed to hear it. Anything else I could have said would have been complete and utter bullshit. "Leave at once and return home!"

Surprisingly Reign's voice boomed, you could even hear a pin drop. One of Lucus's men advantanced towards me, but fell short once I stopped him with a glare.

"Fine, I'll go but I expect you to be home tonight. Don't stay out to late," I instruct.

All I heard in response was a noise that suspiously sounded like a scoff slipping from Reign's lips before letting one of Lucus's men guide me out of his mansion and into the same black car that we came in.

It had tinted windows and The Shadows symbol imprinted on various surfaces, to mark their apparent territory. They were the only people in the state of New York that could afford fancy shit like this car. The only other person, or group, should I say that could compete with them finacially was The Fallen Angels; the gang that dominated the other side of New York.

The car ride back to my apartment, quiet a bit longer than I first suspected. I stared out of the tinted windows, staying silent, as I tried my best to memorize some of the scenery and distingushing land marks. If Reign and Lucus tried to pull a quick one on me, I would just turn it right back around on them and end up on his door step in the dead of the night, demanding that my sister return home.

Plans, that I have conducted in the past, have been far more thoughtout leading to a higher productivity rate, but on this tight schedule it's all I could come up with. Hopefully she would calm down and return home within the next couple of hours. If not, I'd return (with my pistol) until she was safely within my reach once again. I might even try to sic Hoax on some of Lucus's men just for the hell of it. I would love to see his henchmen squirming under the glares of my menacing pet that was ready to take a significant chuck out of their legs, at the snap of my fingers.

At the inticing thoughts about my pet bull dog, I suddenly remember that I was taking Hoax on a walk around the city, when Lucus's men abducted me from off of the sidewalk.

"Where's my dog?," I question looking up from the window memontarily to face the two men, that were given the task of getting me back to my apartment in one piece. At first they seemed a bit surprised to hear my voice, seeing as I hadn't provided a word to any of the conversations they had going on. Although I had to give them props for having a speedy reaction time.

"He was delivered to your apartment by Lucus's orders," I was told by the man who sat in the passenger's seat.

I was wondering how they gained access into my apartment, but I didn't want to talk any more than what I considered to be necessary. Now that I had learned the whereabouts of my dog, I could continue what was left of the trek back home in the comfortable silence that surronded me.

Sorry for the slightly late update; as I come up with new and better ideas it's hard for me to continue pushing myself to write when every thing is going to be so different the next go around, but I will continue to write my ass off throughout the month of April.
