Winters POV:
Freshman year. When I woke up this morning I knew my life was changing. My brother, Jordie, was finally a senior and getting out of this hell hole we call home. We live in a small town in Ohio. Probably the smallest town actually.
I walked through the doors of The Valley High School and instantly knew that this would be the craziest four years of my life. I was trying to find my locker when I spotted Carter. Carter was the hottest boy in my grade. I mean he would never look at me in that way though. I was more of a friend to him. Okay no that's a lie. I was more of like his best friend. Carter was cute, but he always thought of me as his little sister. He knew how to make a girls day though. He could just flash his white teeth and give you a puppy dog look with his beautiful baby blue eyes and you would be hooked. Carter and I met in sixth grade when he moved to my shitty town. He wasn't all that like he is now. I mean he is still the sweetest guy in the world. But over the years he grew to be a ladies man.
He never left me behind though. Not when he started dating Bree Noel and definitely not when she told him it was me or her and he chose me. He always chose me. He says the only reason he chooses me is because i might tell his secret to the world if he leaves me behind. But i would never tell the world that he didn't stop peeing the bed until he was nine. Even if he stopped being my friend. Im not some jealous vindictive biatch. Okay maybe i am, but just a little bit.
Anyways, i finally found my locker and i started putting my notebooks in there.
'Well well well. Look who it is. Jordan Tyler's little sister. Hey boys, don't you think she would be fun to play with?' Kyle Mason then proceeded to grab my ass. But i was in luck because Carter came to my rescue by punching Kyle in the gut.
'Dude, not cool. Leave her alone. Besides she has me. Why would she even look at you?' Carter knew exactly how to defend me.
