"Check over there. Maybe there's still something we can smuggle out of this sad excuse of a village." You hear a tall young man with short, choppy ginger hair, and dull blue eyes say, shuffling around in the rubble searching for items.
"Didn't have to insult it like that. Wasn't this the town where the natural-born witches used to live?" A woman with long black hair which she wears in two pigtails, and wears a compass-like gold earring on her left ear, replies, her hands to her hips as she looks at the man desperately searching.
"Yeah. Careful or some hand might grab your ankles and possess your body." The man says, chuckling mischievously afterwards.
"Fuck off. This place was the last known resting place of all the witches. They might come back to life and kill you for insulting them." The woman says in reply, now searching in the area he pointed in as well.
"That surely explains all the hieroglyphs littered around. Must've been some kind of research." The man says, looking at a tablet filled with ancient scriptures, soon tossing it away and going back into searching.
"Which is why you should stop disrespecting them. Natural-born witches can use magic even without visions. Making them a lot more powerful if they do possess a vision." The woman says, being careful with her words. She seemed to be a lot more knowledgeable and smart than the man with her.
"Who died here anyway?" The man asks, soon standing up from the rubble and patting the dust off his pants. He then stares into the distance, observing all the corpses and skeletons littered around what was once a village.
"People didn't even know they existed. They were in hiding for ages. They just got found out after their kind got destroyed by the Inazuman Reunion." The woman says, also standing up and approaching the man.
"Are there any chances people from Inazuma just come up and kill us?" He asks, glancing at the woman as he cautiously stares at the pair of trees in the distance. Wilting, deprived of leaves, dying, and... useless.
"Not likely. This place has been in ruins for a decade now. If there was something of value, it definitely isn't here anymore." She says, sighing as she sits down, using a magic circle as a platform. Suddenly, the man points at you, his hands shaking and his eyes sharper than that of a hawk.
"Hey... is that body.. moving?" He asks, drilling a hole through you using his deadly but afraid stares. The woman behind him, flinches, also afraid but, soon punches him lightly in the gut.
