It's been some time after Xemnas's defeat, Haya, Hikari's little sister, was staying at Disney Castle with King Mickey and the ones that live there. Queen Minnie had brought cookies and hot cocoa to give her as refreshments. Jiminy Cricket kept Haya company by reading his journal and Hikari's diary with her.
"Well, Haya," Jiminy said. "Now we've taken two journeys. One to stop the darkness from spreading, and the other to put all the lost hearts back where they belong. To tell the truth, neither one was easy, but I sure was glad to be the cricket to write down what happened."
Haya agreed. "Well, my sister, Hikari, wrote down what happened too on her diary."
Jiminy smiled. "That she did. Two journeys, both sittin' quiet right here in these two books and one diary. But now, looks like the only thing left in one of 'em and your sister's diary is a single line." He opened both his journal and Hikari's diary to reveal the writing "Thank Naminé". "Of course, maybe that's because they're the only words these books was meant to hold and it's time to close it for good. But...who exactly is this "Naminé"?"
"I wish I knew," Haya said as she turned a couple of pages until stopped at one page that has another writing. "What's this? Their hurting will be mended when you return to end it?"
Jiminy noticed that writing on his journal. "Hey! It says that in my journal too!"
"What are we gonna do?" Haya frowned.
"We better go tell the King about this message," Jiminy said.
Haya nodded. "Right! Let's go see Mickey!"
Jiminy nodded as he hops onto Haya's shoulder. "Okay!"
Haya took Jiminy to the Library to explain something to King Mickey.
King Mickey was surprised when Haya and Jiminy told him about the message. "A mysterious message?"
"Uh-huh," Haya and Jiminy nodded.
"Hikari and Jiminy certainly didn't write it," Haya said.
"Agreed," Jiminy nodded. "And you know I never once let the journal and Hikari's diary out of our sight. I don't know when anybody woulda had a chance to..."
"Hmm... Their hurting will be mended? Gosh, Jiminy. Sounds like somebody needs help and doesn't know what to do."
Haya nodded. "Let's get to the bottom of this."
"Of course, but how?" Jiminy asked. "All the other pages in my journal are completely blank."
"But not Hikari's diary," Haya said.
"I know, Haya," King Mickey said. "Sure, the words Jiminy wrote are gone, but that doesn't mean the journal is empty."
Soon... King Mickey summoned Chip and Dale to help with Jiminy's journal and Hikari's diary as Donald and Goofy came in.
