Chapter 5: Strangers in the Dark

It's been a long time but without further ado here is your chapter.

Kian's POV:

It was 7th period and I was in ceramics it was supposed to be a fun class but I never did anything in there, hell I never did anything in any class. All I could think about was this girl....damn. She was clouding up my mind why couldn't I shake her from it. I never got tripped up over girls... I kept thinking. I was shaken from my thoughts by my best friend Sam.
"Dude, what's up with you lately?"

"What? Nothing man....it's just..." I was cut off by the bell ringing. I shot up from my desk and rushed out the door slightly shoving people because I knew with the way I looked they would never say anything to me. I rushed to the locker rooms and stood there. I started to think about .... her . What if she didn't come I want to know her better I wanted her to lo... Kian stop what the hell is wrong with you. I just leaned against the wall and lit a cigarette. "You know those are bad for you right" I turned around expecting those bright green eyes but I felt the anger rush over my body when I met a pair of brown ones. "Lucy" I cursed under my breath.
"Hey handsome miss me"
"No I didn't" I said shoving her hand off my chest and stormed off. When the hell did she get back in town. Ahh who the fuck cares anyway. I just want to get home change and head out for a run.

Alice's POV:

Right after the bell rang I grabbed my penny board and headed home as fast as I could I did not want to go meet Kian but now...what was he going to do now that I didn't meet him. All the thoughts jumbled my head and I wasnt paying attention to where I was going and BAM next thing I knew there was a giant cut in my knee. I gathered my penny board and headed home. When I got home I took a quick shower and then bandaged up my knee. I really needed to clear my head so I put on some running clothes and decided to go for a run. As I stepped outside into the cool night air I noticed it was just barely getting dark, "I have time" I thought. I put my headphones in and took off.

(40 minutes later)

I was jogging along when out of no where I hit this body and fell to the ground on top of them. "Well hey baby, no need to fall to get this close to me you could have just asked." I had no idea who this was so I panicked and tried to get up but they held me closer so I kneed them and jumped up and ran, I ran as fast as my legs could carry me. When I looked back I saw him hot on my tail. Just as I turned and looked forward I ran into someone else but I knew this person...their sent was so familiar. I had no other choice I was so panicked I clung to them and whispered, "help me." "Don't worry" they said putting me behind them.
"Hey man give her back to me we were just getting to know each other" the person who chased me said. I looked down and saw the other's hands curl into fists, next thing I knew I heard a thud on the ground. I was so freaked out I had no idea what was going on I just wanted to go home. "Get on my back." The familiar guy said. I didn't think I just did, I hung tightly to him and he took off I looked back and saw the other guy stir on the ground. So I clung tighter to him next thing I knew we were in front of my house. If they knew where I lived then that means... They set me on the down on the ground I looked up the light from my porch light lit up his face it was... Kian. I didn't realize I was staring until he spoke, "You know staring is rude." he said I blushed and looked down. "Thanks" I whispered. "What was that?" He asked with a smirk on his face. "Thanks" I said more confident. "It was my pleasure."
Ok ok so the next thing I did maybe it was the night air, maybe the panic, or maybe I was delusional. But next thing I knew my hands were on his face I was looking into his eyes then....my lips were on his. He immediately kissed me back, but after a couple of minutes I pulled away. We looked at each other panting. The panic took over my body once again I ripped my hands from his face "Goodnight" I said opened and slammed the door before he could say anything else. I slid down the door and tucked my head between my legs and I swear I heard him say "Goodnight... see you Monday."

After calming myself I got up and headed to my room and crawled into bed. All I could think was what did I just do... The last thing I remember before falling asleep was the text I got:

Kian: Goodnight thanks for that kiss ;) :)
