Chapter 6: Stares and Whispers

I could not think about anything else the whole weekend. Everytime I try to think about something else it would just pop back in my head. How could I have kissed him I mean just because he saved me doesn't mean that I should have kissed him...right? I was snapped away from my shower thoughts when my phone went off I couldn't tell who it was from inside the shower so I decided that it was time for me to get out anyway otherwise I was going to be late. I stepped out and wrapped my hair in my towel and put my bathrobe on I looked at my phone to check my messages...one from my mom.

Hey honey how are things at home? We're having fun hope you are too. xx Mom
Everythings fine here glad to hear that xx Alice

Then I checked the other one... Kian.
Do you want a ride to school bebe? Ugh I new if I told him no or didn't respond he would probably come show up anyway.

Sure I replied and cannot believe I was going to ride to school with him what were people going to think...maybe I could have him drop me off a block away, before I could think of anything else I heard a horn coming from outside. Great really great. I grabbed my backpack and headed outside he smiled as he saw me come out the door...it's almost like he didn't expect me too really come out. I opened the door got in and put my seatbelt on.

"Ok let's go, hurry up." I said
"Well good morning to you to beautiful" I blushed and tried my best to avoid his eye contact.
"Can we please just go"
"As you wish princess" ugh really princess

As we turned the corner towards the school my heart started speeding up and thoughts clouded my mind. What are people going to say? Do? What will my friends do or think? Why don't I just open the door and tuck n roll. Yeah that sounds good I'll do that.. but it was to late. He had already parked. I slumped down in the seat waaaayy down.

"Are you ashamed to be seen with me?" He asked and he looked kinda....hurt ?
"No..no..I just...ugh..I'm nervous. What are people going to say or think about seeing us together?"
"Don't worry you'll be fine I promise. If anyone tires to do anything or says anything I'll beat them to a pulp." He laughed, then got out of the car and walked around to my side he put his hand out for me to take and I hesitantly took it when I stood up my legs felt like Jell-O. I probably wouldn't have moved, but I had no choice because he put his arm around my waist and practically drug me through the parking lot. I got really nervous when I saw people start to look towards us. I looked up at Kian and saw that he had the biggest smirk on his face he looked like he was so proud to have me. He just walked through the halls like he couldnt hear the people whispering about him. He walked me all the way to my first class I got kinda sad when I took his arm off my waist...woah what the heck is wrong with me.
"Aww don't worry princess it'll be right back there soon" he said lifting my chin up. How did he know I was thinking that ? "I'll see you at brunch (it's like a break out school calls it brunch) and with that he pecked my lips and walked away smirking. I stood there until my friend Kristina came running up to me.
"Ok ok what in the HELL was that!" She practically screamed. Loud enough to make Kian turn around and wink at me.
"Would you learn how to turn your voice down please !?" I whispered yelled at her "and don't worry I'll tell you later it's a LONG story"
