Chapter 8: i love you

Kian's POV

My heart dropped when I heard that name come from my mouth... "Lucy.." she tried her best to look up at me but it was hard for her with all the cuts and bruises, my heart hurt so much it felt like someone just pulled it straight from my chest.

"Alice..." I spoke softly, "i want you to tell me everything that happened."

"Well...first I remember coming home from my appointment...."

I walked into the house because I had just had some work done my mouth would be numb so my aunt had me stay home for the rest of the day instead of going back to school. I decided to take a pain pill and get some sleep. I remember waking up to the sound of the dogs outside barking....and from my room it sounded like they were barking at the backdoor which was weird because they always stay outside until it gets dark, so I got up to check out the window to see if maybe I had slept for that long but as I pulled the curtains back the sun was still up, as I looked out the window I noticed a purple Camaro out in front so I thought maybe someone was at the door and I just hadn't heard them knock so I went to go out of my room and as I opened the door I was met with this stranger I had never seen before the only thing I remember about her was that bright purple hair....and next thing I know I'm out cold on the ground....I remember waking up in a panic looking around and seeing everything in my room broken and on the ground and I just remember thinking that she could still be here so I rushed into the closet and hoped someone would come and help me...

STILL Kian's POV

I was livid how dare she come in here and do this. She doesn't even know this girl, hell I didn't even really know her yet. I was so scared for Alice I didn't want to leave her....I couldn't leave her.

"You're coming back to my house....I cant leave you alone....and it will be safer.."

"But...I-I-I-..."

"We can take the dogs to.." for the first time she not only lifted her head up to look at me but she had a big smile on it. And for some reason I just felt relaxed and I just wanted to kiss her, I would have if it weren't for that big cut on her lip. That smile just made my heart mel....stop stop what are you doing to yourself she'd never like a douche like you...shut up! I realized I was lost in my thoughts when I saw her hand in front of my face.

"Kian ? Hello earth to Kian..."

"I'm here I'm here.."

"Can we please leave.....I'm really scared to be here right now.." she said with a look of fear in her eyes

"Yeah...yeah lets go, come on," I helped her slowly off the counter. She went into her room to go get a few things and I went downstairs to get the dogs.

Alice's POV

I put a few pairs of underwear, pants, and shirts in a bag that I had. I grabbed my phone charger, laptop and backpack and headed downstairs. I could help but smile when I saw Kian playing with Bella and KP, they must of heard me because the came running towards me.

"You ready ?" he asked and I shook my head. I was the last out making sure I set the alarm and locked the door this time and then headed for his car.

I was shocked when we pulled up in front of his house I had always wondered who lived here. It was a huge two story house with a double garage. He pulled into one of them and got out. He came around to my side to help me out.

"Are your dogs friendly ? I have a couple cats they don't mind dogs but..."

"Yeah, they love cats my aunt has 3."

"Good" he said as he immediately looked relieved...its like he knew how much they meant to me and was hoping they would be able to stay. He took my bag from me and we headed inside. Bella and KP immediately took off to explore. We walked into the kitchen and I froze. There was a lady in there she looked to be about late 30s, it has to be his mom..my assumption was correct as I watched him walk over and kiss her on the cheek...so the bad boy is really a mommas boy...funny.

"Hello Kia....and who is this," she had asked with a look that told me I had to be one of the first girls he has brought home....well at least that she knows of..

"Mom this is Alice...Alice this is my mom"

"Hello...." I said quietly trying not to look at either of them.

"Oh my word.....what happened to you!?!? Kian did yo-"

"NO NO of course not !!" I quickly said

"Mom I would never touch her like that....she means to much to me. It was Lucy," Wait wait did he just say what I think he said.

"That bitch.......I mean terrible terrible girl...sorry" she said and I just looked at Kian...his mom knew this girl?

"I want her to stay here for a while....her parents are away and I can't trust Lucy" he said looking at his mom

"Yes yes of course she can stay here. You can stay in his room and he'll stay in the fold out bed in the game room. Go get settled dinner will be ready in an hour."

Kian headed up stairs to his room when I walked in I was surprised, it was blue and had a big king size bed against the wall with a desk on the other side of the room band posters on all of the walls. I followed him to his bed where he set my bag down.

"I'll let you get settled in. I'll re-clean your cuts after dinner." and with that he turned around and left.

"Thank you so much Ms. Lawley, it was delicious."

"Oh thank you dear and call me mom"

After we helped clean up Kian and I headed back up stairs. He told me to change and then meet him in the bathroom. When I walked into the bathroom I froze not only because of the size of the bathroom by because I was met with a shirtless Kian, he was getting out the stuff to clean my cuts and he was only in gym shorts, which was what I assumed he slept in, he noticed me and I instantly felt uncomfortable, considering I was only wearing a big t-shirt that covered most of my shorts so he was looking me up and down and I could tell he knew I was uncomfortable "Uhh s-s-sorry" he said as he quickly looked down "You can come sit on the counter like last time" so I walked over and sat down and he got in between my legs and started cleaning. I took this time to examine all of his tattoos. I have always loved tattoos and cant wait to get them. After about 20 minutes he was finally done. I helped him clean all of the stuff up and then we both walked out.

"I'll just be 2 doors down if you need anything....goodnight"

"Goodnight"

I walked into his room and put Bella and KP in their beds then laid down in his bed it was nice it had his scent to it.

After about what felt like an 2 hours, but was actually only 30 minutes, of laying there no matter how hard I tried every time I closed my eyes I couldn't get the image of her out of my mind. I finally gave up and headed down the hall I knocked lightly before slowly opening the door

"Kian..." I whispered

"Yeah..what's up" he asked after sitting up, he was watching tv,

"I was wondering if....uhh....you.....could....umm....maybe come back....and um sleep in your room with me......I cant get her face out of my mind" I said quietly. I must have been looking down because when I looked up my eyes met his chest then his eyes

"Of course I will.." he said calmly. He took my hand and led me back to his room he got in first then I got in. We laid apart for a while then when I turned on my side he moved behind me and put his hands around my waist. I slowly fell asleep after finally feeling safe in his arms the last thing I remember before falling asleep is his voice..
