A Christmas party three weeks away from Christmas, odd right? Well, that's where I am. At a Christmas party curtesy of my rather odd friends Perry and Lafontaine. I will never understand those two but whatever deity knows I try.

The party is pretty great actually aside from my enemy who is currently across the room flirting with some blonde from my anthropology class. Aside from Perry, Laf and Carmilla some other attendants are Danny, my Lit TA and my plus one, Kirsch, the giant puppy Zeta bro. Everyone else are merely just acquaintances of mine, they are mainly Laf and Perry's friends but overall it's a good party.

There's some soft Christmas music playing in the background, there is a spinning Christmas tree with colored lights thrown on it with loads of silver tinsel coating the tree and not to mention the surplus of ornaments hanging from the artificial branches.

Right now I'm next to the snack table munching on some gingerbread and sipping on some hot coco as I observe the parties attendants. People are laughing, talking and dancing while I stand here, alone. I finish the gingerbread cookie in my hand and I decide to get away for a second to go to the bathroom, as u passed under the arch in the wall so did Carmilla and Laf yelled.

"MISTLETOE FROSH AND BROODY!!!" The short haired ginger exclaimed in a painfully loud voice that had the potential to break glass and bust eardrums.

Carmilla and I locked eyes, she wore her trademark smirk while I'm sure I looked like I just smelt the worlds most foulest smell to ever be smelled.

"Oh no..." I groaned in displeasure.

"Oh yes, cupcake." Carmilla replied biting her lip.

"Kiss Karnstein and Hollis, it's the Christmas rules!" Lafontaine added. I can vouch that I'm certainly not gingers biggest fan at the moment.

"Welp, Hollis." Carmilla said popping the 'p' on welp. "Let's do this..." She added. I rolled my eyes as I felt everyone else's eyes in the room on us and I leaned in first initiating the kiss I was about to dread.

When our lips touched, I slightly jumped back. It felt like I shocked my finger in a wall outlet. Carmilla's lips were warm on mine. She sucked on my bottom lip, it felt like all the lights in the room were about to blow out from the electricity we were creating with our lips. I can't believe j was doing this. I mean she was my enemy through out every year I went to school. She always loved to tease and fluster me. It was like it was her God sent mission to make me blush. I was suppose to loathe the dark haired girl, not enjoy the warmth of her lips on mine.

"Umm, hate to break this up but you've been kissing for like, um fifty seconds..." Lafontaine said bringing me out of the temporary unconscious state I was in. If I could see myself in the mirror I'm sure I was glowing as red as one of the red lights on the Christmas tree. I examined Carmilla's face for any sign of emotion. She looked, content...happy even.

"Well cupcake, that was a something." Carmilla said with a sly, proud smirk as she licked her lips. If there weren't anyone in the room our lips would've been pressed together again. But this shouldn't be happening. I shouldn't of liked the kiss, I should be having the urge to brush my teeth and gargle with listerine. Not wanting to feel her lips on mine once again. This is preposterous.

I felt everyone in the rooms eyes burn into my already got flesh. I searched my mind for what to do and settled on going over to the alcohol and drink until I didn't remember what the pale girls lips felt like on mine.
