Ice cream Break pt 2

Martha's POV

I was still walking around clueless that Victor had already found Andrew so I wen to check back on the table to see if he had returned there. I got there and he was there with Victor and was with Vera to! It always made me happy to see how much progress out friend group had made since a few months ago.

One thing tipped me off though and that is that me and Vera's ex Fiona is there too. I don't have anything against her I just find it really awkward talking with someone that broke up with you not even a month ago. She wasn't cheating or anything she just lost interest in us. It was and will always be ok with that It was her choice not ours. We're on good terms too so it's nice to see her every one in a while.

"Oh hey Fiona!" I said approaching the group "Heyo Martha. How've you been lately?" She asked me getting up to hug me "I've been good. How about you?" I said hugging her back "Oh that's splendid Martha! I've been pretty well too thank you for asking." She said pulling two seats open for us to sit in. Everyone mostly talked about how stupid my overtime works. "Ok so what your telling us is that, every time you take a early break you get 20 minutes of overtime every weekend?!" Vera exclaimed.

"Yeah that about sums it up babe." I told her. The next few minutes when by with constant chatter and it all ended when I had to go back to work and everyone felt after paying the bill.
