Fade looked for what to wear and finally, she settled on boyfriend jeans and crop top and she threw on a curly wig before putting it in place with her hairband. Suzy whistled as soon as she saw her and IBK started screaming. These girls were something else and there's never a dull moment with them.
"Can you girls keep your voice down? This is a university for crying out loud not a damn secondary school hostel" the last girl in the room shunned them before going back to pressing her phone under her duvet.
Fade still doesn't know her name and she has been ignoring them for the better part of the time they were inside. They exchanged look before Fade hissed loudly and she picked up her handbag and her files. Way to ruin her mood this morning. She wasn't going to show this girl yet, she will still show her though.
Her phone started ringing and Chubi's name came up. She rolled her eyes before picking it up. He was waiting for her downstairs in her hall and she had delayed him since he has been there before she even had her bath. They exited the room and Chubi was waiting by his car.
"Big Man Chum Chum" IBK hailed and he gave her the middle finger, he already told them to stop calling him Chum Chum and it was Suzy that came up with the nickname. Fade laughed as she got into the front seat of the car, and the girls got into the back seat.
Chubi's dad is into oil and gas and all his siblings are in America. His dad has plans of running for a public post and the rules say one of his children must complete his education here. He begged Chubi to stay and he bribed him with gifts. They had to do medicals in school today and that's why they are trying to leave the hall early so they can complete their stuffs on time.
"Hello guys, welcome to my YouTube channel and it's your favorite human again. Today's day four inside this hell hole and I have to go early because we need to finish early. Anyways meet my new friends, This is Chubi Chum chum, money man. Chubi say hi to the camera" Fade turned the camera to Chubi who blew a kiss at the camera before winking. Fade laughed before saying something along the line of never to be caught unfresh.
"Meet my sugar mommies, IBK spending and Suzy money" Fade turned the camera to IBK and Suzy who waved at the camera. "I no be anybody sugar mommy oh, how much dey my account biko?" Suzy replied before they all laughed, and she said a few things before she stopped filming.
"Una no dey hungry, e be like say my stomach don empty" Chubi lamented and Fade laughed, Chubi's love for food was something else. Fade reached for the car stereo before switching on her Bluetooth and it automatically connected. Kizz Daniel's Oshe came on and everyone started singing along.

Fade dragged her feet to Chubi's car where everyone else was waiting for her. Chubi finished first as expected but one evil woman refused to let Fade do hers. She made her wait till almost seventy five percent of everyone that met her there already left. Talk about being power drunk.
"The woman dey craze shaa, so she delayed you under that hot sun since morning. Omoooo people dey craze oh." Suzy said as soon as she entered the car but she remained quiet. No energy to continue this conversation again.
Chubi stepped in and fist-bumped Fade before turning around to look at IBK and Suzy. He started blinking his eyes and pouting as if he wanted to ask them for something. IBK maintained her stared but Suzy asked him what happened.
"Please, there's this new girl I just met. I promised to drop her off at Founder's hall. It's not close to our halls but it's just like a mini tour then we can go and eat outside the school. It's okay if you don't want to go, I will totally understand. I will just explain to her that you guys are tired" He pleaded and Fade smiled.
It's his car and he has a right to carry whoever he feels like but asking for their opinions made the whole thing look somehow. They were friends now, not even up to a week and yet he already considered their opinions in his life. Thank God for the 'effing' day Fade met him.
"Awey, effing drive jare." IBK added and Fade burst into laughter. She didn't know what made her laugh more, maybe the way IBK pronounced the effing or the Awey IBK loved adding in front of every sentence. One thing that she's sure of was that, her friends are funny characters.
"I don't sound like that guy and why do you love putting Awey in front of your sentence?" Chubi asked and Suzy tried to reel in her laughter.
"Same reason you won't pronounce fucking and call it effing. Leave me." She shunned him and everyone kept quite. IBK schooled in Ondo state before her dad won her custody from her mom and she was returned to Lagos. She told them that Awey is like a casual slang that Ondo indigenes put in front of their statements.
"You know I'm not laughing at you though." Chubi added silently and no one said anything again. IBK always reacted if you talk about her dialect or her Yoruba effect on her English. So they all knew that already, even if it's going to take a while to get used to it.
"Abeg, we are branching KFC after we drop my friend. Hunger have want to kill me" Chubi said to lighten up the mood and everyone seemed to agree with him.
