Chapter One - Harry Potter has a sister.
Marcelline Potter is the name. I'm not some long lost twin of Harry's, I'm just his normal average twin. I have the same mark as Harry, only it's on my left hand. Harry and I were both taken away and put with the Dursleys, bloody monsters is more like it. They're terrible to Harry and quite kind with me, but I refuse everything they offer or give to me. Who would want something from such disgusting people? I surely don't want anything and as far as I know, neither does Harry.
Harry and I are identical twins, the same black hair and green eyes, only I took more of our mum's facial features and I actually care to brush through my hair in the mornings. I've always been slightly taller than Harry and a little bit heavier, but perhaps it's because I'm a female. There is one thing, though, that separates Harry and I deeply. I'm a werewolf. I was bitten in my first year at Hogwarts. Sirius calls me Moonette. I've come to terms with being a werewolf and I find that I can control it on some occasions. Most of the time when it's a full moon, I leave school that day. No one questions it and Dumbledore seems to be fine with it. When Harry heard I was in St. Mungos for a werewolf bite he went absolutely mad. I thought it was kinda cool and when Professor Lupin came to school, I could get out my worries and not feel awkward. He didn't scoot away from me whenever we talked about it like everyone did. In fact he made me feel like calm, he's like the father I never had.
oooOOOoooOOOoooOOOooo
"Neville, can you help me with this?" I asked from my seat next to him. He turned to me and studied my Herbology work, making small little x's and telling me what was right and what was wrong. After a bit more staring at my paper he slid it a little ways back towards me and I smiled in thanks. He shrugged and stood up, "I'm gonna go to bed. See you tomorrow, Marcy." He smiled shyly and then turned around, making his way up towards the boys dormitory.
As soon as Neville was out of sight I began to pace. My nerves were going wild at the moment, Harry and I were supposed to talk to Sirius, but Harry wasn't even here. He was probably doing something with the other champions at the moment. Did I mention Harry was now the Tri-Wizard tournament? Some fool put his name in the Goblet of Fire and now my brother has to go and face three challenges. My heart raced uncomfortably. I was so into my thoughts in pacing, I didn't notice the portrait open and two tall, redheaded twins walk in.
"What's got you-" Fred started.
"So worried?" George finished.
A faint smile found it's way onto my lips at the two. They were both so cute with finishing each others sentences and saying things in unison. I loved the two of them. Whenever I didn't feel well, both would go through great lengths to make me feel better or at least smile at them. But my happy thoughts didn't last long before the thought of Harry being late dug itself a little burrow in my thoughts.
I stopped pacing and pinched the bridge of my nose, "Harry." Fred cringed at my tone and shook his head sorrily.
"I can tell Harry's in trouble," Fred chuckled walking over to one of the worn leather couches. George waltzed over to me and slung an arm around my shoulder, guiding me to sit in between Fred and him, "Yeah. He's going to get his arse beat."
A laugh escaped my lips and Fred pinched my left cheek, "There's that pretty smile of yours, Marc." I rolled my eyes and swatted away his hands before leaning my head on George's shoulder and swinging my feet up on Fred's lap. Fred took it upon himself to play with my feet and complain about how George got my good side. Cue another eye roll and a snort.
"You really are immature, Freddy," I teased, knocking my feet against each other. Fred shrugged and grinned over at me innocently, "You love it."
I shook my head and narrowed my eyes, "Do not."
"Do too."
"Do not."
"Do too."
"Do not."
"Do too."
"Do n-" A hand slapped over my mouth and I glanced up to see George glaring playfully down at me, "Stop fighting, he'll win anyway."
Cue yet again another eye roll and a pinch on the cheek from George. As I was about to complain about him pinching my cheeks, the portrait opened and Harry came strolling in. Fred and George jumped up, running back towards the boys dormitory and giving Harry a sympathetic look.
"Harry Potter," I snarled, "Do you know how worried I've been?" Harry took a step back with a scared expression written on his face. I took an advancing step towards him and opened my mouth to scream. Oh Harry...You have it coming...
Hiya! It's "DarlingDearest" here! How do you guys like it so far? Confusing? Sloppy? Rushed? It's my first story and I'd love to get some feedback. :) Also, I know that having Marcelline fall for George knowing that Harry and Ginny get together might mess some things up, but at the same time does it really? I mean there isn't any inbreeding and everything will basically be as thought George got together with someone else...right? eek! D:
Ex oh ex,
