Truth or Dare

"Chloe zu deinen faulen hintern aus dem bett oder sie gehen, zu spät zur schule zu sein!" My mum yells at me from downstairs

"Ich komme!" I yell back to my mum, I grab my phone off my bedside to see that I have 328 text messages: 250 consisting of my friends Ashton, Calum, and Michael talking about some truth or dare video that I haven't seen, 50 from my best friend Kimberly about riding someone, I have no idea, 26 from my cousin Victoria talking about how me and this guy would be such a good couple, and 2 from my best friend Luke, to what I've seen glancing at it, it seems important. I'll just ask him in school. I look at the clock and silently cuss at myself for taking a little too long reading my texts, without another thought I roll out of bed and head downstairs to see all my fifteen siblings at the table with my parents.

"It's about time you got up, too busy texting your boyfriend?" My little sister Mackenzie asks me, "shut up before I throw my breakfast at you" I warn her, she likes to tease me just because I made the terrible mistake of telling her about my crush on Luke. "Chloe, Mackenzie better be kidding about you having a boyfriend." My dad quickly tells me. "Dad, you know I don't have a boyfriend and besides, you would be the first person to know" I reassure him. I take my seat next to my younger sister Eleanor but before I can take a bite of my breakfast, she nudges me with her leg under the table to get my attention "you know, are you sure you were telling dad the truth about not having a boyfriend, word gets around that you and that Luke guy are pretty close." In response I just roll my eyes at her idiotic statement.

After eating and being bamboozled by my siblings I finally go upstairs to do my morning routine and quickly change into my school uniform before jumping back into bed, having a few minutes to spare before I have to walk my siblings to school. I send out responses of 'what' since I have no idea what they're talking about, almost everyone just tells me that they'll tell me once I get to school, except for Luke he is yet to text me back. With that I lock my phone, get my backpack and get my siblings and we start our way to school. The walk to my highschool is short since my sister's elementary and middle schools are just a few blocks away.

When I walk through the double doors everyone's attention turn to me, that's NEVER a good sign. With everyone watching me I nearly run down the hall wall to my locker. Once I get to my locker there are a few notes taped on it saying things like "lucky" and "If I can't have him, I'm glad you do." When I open my locker a folded up paper falls catching my attention. I unfold the paper and see very neat handwriting written "He's more myself than I am. Whatever our souls are made of, his and mine are the same." After reading the note I smile to myself, quickly knowing it as my favourite quote from Wuthering Heights. I grab my books for English, it being my first period, but before I can close my locker my best friend Kimberly runs up and does it for me.

"CHLOE ELIZABETH MARIE PAYNE YOU WILL NEVER GUESS WHAT HAPPENED AFTER YOU LEFT THE PARTY LAST NIGHT!" Kim basically screams down the hallway

"I'm guessing you were playing truth or dare?" I tell her once she gets to the side of my locker

"How did you know!?" She looks at me suspiciously

"Ashton, Calum, and Michael were one step ahead of you." I tell her and she just frowns at me in response

"C'mon let's go to English, we'll talk more at lunch." Kim pulls my arm and starts walking to our first period. Once we get there everyone is already at our table, I take my seat next to Luke and when I do almost everyone looks our way and gasps. I turn my attention to the teacher and try to pay attention but it's kind of hard with about everyone staring at you.

"I'm so confused, how did I become the center of attention in just one day?" I ask Luke who was on my right side

"You don't know what happened after you left the party?" He looks at me with those light blue eyes and I swear I could see a little bit of... hope?

"No, everyone talks about some truth or dare confession but no one has told me who made the confession." I tell him and he looks at me with a thoughtful expression. The rest of English was a blur, my next period was maths, although I hate maths it was okay because Victoria and Calum were in my class. Once I get to class Victoria is already seated next to my assigned seat when I start to walk in the classroom Victoria sees me and runs over to me

"Lets go, we're going for a walk" she grabs my arm and pulls me in the opposite direction of our class

"What are you doing, we have to go to class!" I tell her panickly

"No shit Sherlock, let's go I wanna talk"

"Can you please tell me about the whole truth or dare thing last night?" The suspense is killing me!

"Fine I'll tell you once we get to the toilets, but you have to promise you won't tell anyone that I told you okay?" I just nod in response. When we get to the toilets its empty, perfect

"And you promise you won't tell anyone I told you?" I quickly nod, Victoria looks both ways before whispering in my ear "Luke was the one who confessed to liking you."

Victoria must of seen my confused expression so she whispers in my ear again "After you left the party, Michael got drunk and deicided it would be fun to play truth or dare, so literally everyones playing the game and some slut asks Luke if he likes someone, and he says yes, so Calum's turn comes around and he asks Luke truth or dare, Luke says dare, so Calum being Calum dares Luke to tell everyone who he likes and he says you."

"No, no, there's no way!" I say shaking my head back and forth, I don't believe this

"Chloe Elizabeth Marie Payne, ask anyone, I swear when I say this, Luke likes you." And at that time, I swear I stopped breathing, trying to fathom this

I picture Chloe as Taylor Swift if you couldn't tell by now, this is my first fanfic so I ALREADY KNOW IT SUCKS, in the beginning the lanuage is German, just use Google Translate like I did(:
