Kaden pulled up to my house and once again, opened my door. We made our way to the front door and Kaden unlocked it with his keys. Yes he has his own keys. His idea, not mine.

We stepped into the living room and I called out to my parents.

"Anyone home!" I yelled and was surprised when a familiar voice called back to me. A voice that I haven't heard in a long time.

"Nope, just us!" Said the voice from behind me. I gasped when I saw who it was.

"Jonathan!? What are you doing here!" I asked as I made my way to my older brother. He smiled and hugged me tightly before answering my question.

"Can't a big brother visit his little sister?" He asked and I shook my head.

"Not when his wife is almost 9 months pregnant with my nephew at home" I said and he laughed.

"Don't worry, Reagan's here with me. She's sleeping upstairs after the long trip" he said and I nodded. Jonathan then looked behind me and smiled at Kaden. "Hey Kaden, how's it going?" He asked while they did that bro hug thingy. I rolled my eyes.

Men.

"Everything's been doing good" he said and Jon nodded his head.

"My sister hasn't been causing trouble?" Jonathan asked doubtfully. Kaden laughed loudly and my body shivered in delight. I loved Kaden's laugh.

"Sky's the epitome of trouble" he said and I scowled while punching his arm. He only laughed at me and Jonathan ruffled my hair.

"Where's Mom and Dad?" I asked, trying to stir the conversation away from me.

"Off getting dinner" Jonathan said.

Of Course

Mom couldn't cook to save her life.

We moved into the living room when Kaden and Jonathan started talking about sports. I was completely bored out of my mind until my sister-in-law decided to grace us with her presence. I squealed when I saw her. She did too.

"REAGAN!" I said while running up and hugging her.

"SKY!" She said while hugging me back. The boys covered their ears while cringing. "OH My God! You're stunning! I can't believe its only been 4 months since I last saw you!" She exclaimed and I chuckled.

"Reagan, I look exactly the same! If anyone looks different, it's you! You're glowing!" I said and she laughed.

"I certainly don't feel like that" she said. "I feel like 2 whales combined"

I laughed and Jonathan pulled her onto his lap. He kissed her cheek and rubbed her swollen belly. I couldn't help but be a little jealous over their interaction.

I wanted someone to hold me like that. I wanted to look in their eyes and see all their love and adoration for me. I wanted to be able to reciprocate the feelings and share all my love with someone.

I felt Kaden behind me even before he slid his arms around my waist and dragged me to my room.

Those wriggly sparks shooting up and down my body.

When we finally got their, he shut the door and stared at me.

"What?" I asked when the silence was killing me. He just looked at me and stared.

I sighed and fell on my bed while crossing my arms over my eyes. I felt the bed dip before my arms were slowly removed from my eyes.

Kaden laid next to me and started playing with my fingers.

I smiled.

Whenever I wouldn't want to talk, he would play with my fingers and wait patiently for me to tell him my problems.

I turned on my side and faced my handsome best friend.

I studied every inch of him before lifting my free hand to his hair and running my fingers through his thick dark locks. I smiled when he closed his eyes and leaned into my touch.

"Are you going to tell me what's wrong?" He asked quietly with his eyes still closed. I sighed.

"Will you believe me if I said that nothing's wrong?" I asked quietly and he chuckled.

"Maybe, if I didn't know you so well Sky" he said and this time I chuckled. He caught my hand in his hair and brought it to his mouth while kissing the palm.

Those wriggly sparks were going into over load.

He was about to say something, when my brother's voice broke through our trance.

"SKYLAR! KADEN! GET YOUR TEENAGED BUTTS DOWN HERE BEFORE I WALK INTO YOUR ROOM WITH A SHOT GUN!" He threatened and I laughed.

Protective brothers, you gotta love them.

I quickly kissed Kaden's cheek before making my way to the door. When I heard a little growl, I laughed.

"The least you could do was give me a real kiss" he mumbled.

"What was that?" I asked and he smiled widely at me.

"Nothing dear, now let's go before your brother makes good on his promise and ends up shooting me" he said and I laughed.
