🐾Kaden's POV🐾

I just stared at her

There was nothing else I could do but stare at her

'This cannot be happening' I thought to myself

"Are you Okay?" She asked, looking worried  "You look really pale"

"Do remember me?" I asked, stepping closer to her bed.

She started at me for a long time

My heart was beating out of my chest as she scrutinized me

And then she started snickering.

"Do you really think I could forget my Wolf Man" she giggled "It's going to take a lot more than a little car crash to make me forget about you"

My heart beat started to slow down and all the tension left from my shoulders.

I sat down in the chair and gave her a half hearted glare "That was a sick joke" I grumbled

She snickered again "I'm sorry, I just had to do it" she said before pointing to the TV.

I rolled my eyes at both her and the TV.

Now I know where she got the idea for her little joke

50 Firsts Dates, Her favorite movie was playing.

She laughed at the part when Drew Barrymore was beating up a guy with a bat.

I just stared at her, overjoyed to hear her laugh again.

She must of felt me watching her because she glanced at me

"What?" She asked

"I Love You" I blurted out

She smiled softly at me "I Love You too" she said before patted the spot next to her on the bed.

I sat down on the edge of her bed, aware of her still healing body.

She rolled her eyes and scooted closer to me

"Skylar..." I warned

"Kaden..." She mimicked my tone "Other than a few cuts and bruises, I'm fine. Trust me"

"You're not fine Skylar" I said quietly "You almost died. I almost lost you!"

"Kaden" she said softly before running her hand through my hair "I didn't die. I'm here, in the flesh. I'm alive"

I kissed her

When we pulled away, we were both breathless "You're never driving again" I said and she laughed.

"What even happened?" She asked and then her eyes widened "Oh My God!! What happened to Greyson and Rose?"
