I gave the order to evacuate, and like I expected, my order was questioned. All the other Bavians would not trust me. I'm new, young, and short. Not really the person to look up too, but now, I'm Queen. I told them my order again, and they looked at the former king, who is now my right hand man. My supervisor; he is only supposed to stay for the first week of my rule, but I can tell he isn't going to hand it over that easy.

I looked at him, now all eyes were on him. He shook his head no. I got a little angry. I'm the Queen now, I'm the ruler he isn't anymore, stop looking at him for leading. I asked if I could talk to him in private.

"What's the matter, your highness, can't stand people wanting to know my opinion?" He asked me.

"As my supervisor your opinion is noted, sir, but I want to know why you disagree with my actions." I asked.

"I'm your right hand; I have to go against you. If I agreed with you on everything there would be now need for me." He told me. "Plus, your order is...completely ridiculous.

'Ugh, being treated like the baby.' I thought.

"Well, thank you for pointing that out, that's all, Comet." I told him. I walked back out into the hall, and sat back on my thrown. I sat as straight as I could to look official. But with my feet not being able to even touch the ground, I hardly looked like a Queen.

"We need to evacuate, now." I said, and as soon as I did, Comet raced to me.

"Are you mad?" He shouted.

"Are YOU mad? There is a species-eating-monster in our solar system. We have to get out of..."

"We can try to destroy it. We have to fight! You aren't even putting up a fight! You are abandoning my beautiful empire! You are ruining what I worked so hard for! Your Majesty!" Comet screamed, I would have been angry with him, but deep down below his red hot face, he was crying. He loved this planet, more than anyone else, and he couldn't just let it go.

"We wouldn't abandon it. We will come back! We will be back." I told him.

"And come back to what, a dump destroyed by the Ellg? I can't..." He said, now I could feel his pain even more.

"The Ellg only want life to feed on, planets that they come encounter with are never tore apart. It will be back the way it always was when we come back."

He started walking away. "I can't do it, Aurora." He whispered. It shocked me to hear him talk so gentle, and not shouting at my face.

"We will come back. We will be back in a year. No later than one year, I swear!"

"Is that a real swear?" Comet asked. "Are you giving your word as a Bavian?"

I paused for a moment. Giving your word as a Bavian was a huge commitment. Giving your word meant that you would keep it, and if you didn't keep it, you and your family would be disgraced from the empire. My parents would always warn me and Dipper when I was little never to give our word. Even if we were positive we could keep it. But now I'm not little anymore, I'm the Queen.

I said the oath, “I give my word, as a Bavian, that our people will return to Bavel in one year or less. If we don't, so help me, God." I said, as I took his head. I could tell he still didn't trust me.

After that us and all the Bavians gathered our things, and walked slowly to our escape pods. We were going to miss this place. Bavel, where the ground is gray, and sky is black. Where you can walk for miles and not see anything different. But where you can walk for more miles, and be rewarded with what you discover. It all looks the same, but when you see a speck of grass or a small tint of color, it is worth it. And now, we are leaving. But, we will be back in a year, I hope. If not, so help me, God.
