Juliet Kingston and her family move to California from New York for a fresh start and for her fathers new job Offer. She has never really had a easy life and she's not close with her parents because of something that happened a few years ago. Going...
As I sat in the back seat of my step fathers car I wondered why he took the job in California. We had everything we needed in New York and now we're leaving it all behind. But I guess it's better for all of us.
I closed my eyes and tried to drain out the sound of my beloved parents who I use to be so close with argue about what they were going to do with me because I was to much to for them to handle.
Sometimes I wish I was still close to them. But things happen people change and I will never forget what happened that night that made us drift apart.
As we pulled into our new homes drive way I smiled to myself at least I will have my own room the house is definitely bigger than our last.
My father is a real-estate agent and he just got a job in California. I not going to lie the house is gorgeous. It's a white and red brick two story house with palm trees and flowers in the yard.

My mother is a stay at home mom who's only goal is to impress people with a nice and clean house, and me and my younger brothers go to school most of the time obviously.
"I call the biggest room!" One of my brothers called as we got out of the car. "No I do!"
"You boys will share a room Juliet will get her own" my dad smiled at me. But I didn't smile back.
The Inside of the house was beautiful there were white walls. But there was one wall that was a grayish blue that had a picture of a mountain landscape and it was beautiful.
When I walked up stairs and into my decently sized new room I was happy that it had a bathroom. I have always wanted my own so I didn't have to clean pee off the toilet every time I had to use the bathroom.
The moving truck will be here an in hour so that gives me time to explore the neighborhood.
"I'm going for a walk" I yelled to my parents "ok be back soon pls, and meet some neighbors I'm going to need someone to talk to"my mom yelled back in a happy tone.
I hate when they act like they care. The only other reason we moved was so they didn't have to talk to anyone. Besides I know the job offer was not the only reason we moved.
"Hello dear" a woman called to me. I turned around not really wanting to talk to someone.
"Hi!" I said to her in a fake sweet voice. " I see you just moved in"
"Yea we did" " how lovely, well you have a sense of style" she said with a nasty voice and a nasty look on her face to match.
I thought my outfit was good when I picked out a pair a ripped skinny jeans and a sweat shirt. Guess I was wrong. But she's in a a skin tight skirt that goes to her knees and a fancy white shirt that you would wear to a office job. So I think she's wrong.
"Mom I hear the ice cream truck! Can I get some?" a little boy came running outside yelling.
"No, it has to much sugar and we're not trying to gain weight now are we?"
The little boy shook his head sadly and walked inside.
What a ass hole that boy could not have been older than 7. He doesn't need to be worried about his weight.
When I got back home the moving truck was there and all my boxes were in my room.
When I set my mirror up in the corner of my room I stared at my self for a while. I never really liked my body I was always self conscious but I was working on being more confident. But one thing I did love about myself though was the way that I cared for others. Even when they don't care about me.
I laid in my bed that took me 5 hours to put together and fell a sleep watching twilight on my laptop.
