Toiling hard for water
Are our mothers and daughters
Trudging to rivers and ponds for water
Still are many of our homemakers
It is no more a small matter
Can't get it any straighter!
Our water is going
Big trouble is brewing
We may soon be drowning
In our own thirsts
If we don't let the bubble
Of our indifference burst
Now!
So let's act now!
Let's save water now!
Let's save our mothers and daughters
From this endless toil for water
This International Women's Day
Let's take this vow!
