Still nothing from Bella, but Lydia knew that Charlie was getting tired of it. She rolled her eyes when she heard a knock causing her to answer it. "Klaus." She said. "What are you and Hope doing here?"

"Thought I could come over and see if you would like to join us."

Lydia looked back at her sister as she walked out. Charlie saw his oldest and his neighbor. "I'll be right back."

"This may not end well."

"What?"

"Dad is sending Bella back to mom's. She still hasn't came out of that state." She said. "I don't know what that ass did or why she is like that, but it's gone on too long."

Klaus looked at her as Charlie walked back over to them. "Hello, I'm Charlie." He said.

"Known as chief Swan." Lydia tells him. "Daddy, this is Klaus and his daughter Hope."

"Nice to meet you two." He said as he looked Lydia. "She refused."

Lydia nodded as he walked back in. "If this is a bad time..."

"No, let's go to your house. Dad's getting his jacket so he can get to work." Lydia sighed. "So what was you wanting to do?"

"Go shopping and take Hope to the park."

Lydia smiled as she kissed his cheek. "I'll be right back then we can go."

Klaus nodded as he looked at Hope. Today, he was going to know Lydia better, despite them both knowing each other for a month. When Lydia walked out, Hope smiled causing Klaus to turn to see Lydia dressed for the day. "Ready, love?"

She blushed with a smile. "I'm ready."

In New Orleans, the other Mikaelsons and Hayley were looking everywhere for Klaus and Hope. Where ever they are, Klaus is making sure that they are not found. "How are we going to find them?"

"Easy, start searching for them differently. Klaus doesn't have a spell cloaking him, but someone is and they must not even know that they are a witch."

"Love, what's on your mind?"

"I had a talk with dad last night and asked was I adopted." She said as he nodded. "I am, but no matter what. Mom and dad are my parents because they raised me."

"How was you found?"

"On their doorsteps after they wed." She tells him. "A note was left with me saying to love me and protect me. I'm special, but I never understood what that means." Lydia sighed. "Dad told me not to worry about it because him and mom love me no matter what, even Bella."

Klaus nodded as he looked at his daughter. "You don't mind staying the night to watch Hope. I need to do some things."

"I don't mind, Klaus." She tells him.

Klaus smiled as Lydia picked up a very tired Hope. "Let's get her home."

That night, Lydia had laid Hope for bed and decided to sit by the fire. She walked down the hall, but stopped as she had this feeling that something was in the room. She opened the door to not see anyone. "Hope?" She said as she ran back to the room and saw a guy. "Leave her alone!"

"She's going home to her mother."

"No, Klaus won't allow that." She said as she ran to the baby just to be thrown against the wall.

"I'm sorry, but I have to do my job."

Lydia stood back up glaring. The guy didn't get the chance to grab Hope as he was choking on nothing. He turned around to see Lydia glaring at him. "Bitch." He managed to get up as he attacked her.

Outside, Klaus arrived back with some wine when he heard fighting. He ran inside and saw Lydia in Hope's room fighting a vampire. Lydia grabbed a piece of wood and shoved it in the guys chest. She gasped as she saw what she had done. "Love?"

Lydia looked at Klaus. "Klaus, I didn't mean too..."

Klaus moved the body off her and pulled her up in a hug. "I know you didn't mean too." He tells her.

Lydia cried as she held on to him. She killed someone, but this person wasn't human. Lydia pulled back as she had to do it. Klaus looked at her just for Lydia to kiss him. Klaus kissed her back before they broke apart and looked at Hope to see she was still sleeping. The two shared a look before kissing one another again. Picking Lydia up without breaking the kiss, Klaus carried her out of the room as they started fighting with their clothes.

Lydia took his shirt off and looked at him. She ran her hands up and down his chest. Klaus had her look at him as he had to ask. "Are you sure?"

Lydia thought for a moment. She could have died tonight and then there is this undeniable attraction to Klaus. "I'm sure."

"There's no going back, love."

"I don't care." She said.

Klaus nodded as he kissed her again. He couldn't hold back anymore. Klaus needed Lydia like she needed him. When they finally made it to his room, Klaus tossed Lydia onto the bed causing her to watch him speed over to her. "I'll tell you tomorrow, right now, I need you."

"I need you, Klaus."

The two shared another kiss. Lydia moaned as she felt him enter her causing her to scratch his back.

"It's happening." A voice said.

"What?"

"His completing the mate bond, but he doesn't know this."

"What happens now?"

"Easy, he has to give her blood to turn her and they will be indestructible."
