Christmas Eve...

Lilac started posting her holiday greetings to everyone on her newsfeed. She also made personalized messages to the people close and dear to her including her bestfriends and family members.

Until, she came across Adam's name on her inbox.

Contemplating whether to send him a message or not, she sighed and went to Instagram instead.

She busied herself scrolling over her feed and liking posts of her favorite celebrities. She was distracted when a firework suddenly popped outside their home and she didn't notice that she had liked on Adam's post on her feed.

She forgot about it as the Christmas draws near. She and her parents had attended the mass and feasted on a simple Noche Buena after taking a couple of pictures.

It was only until the next day when she realized what she did.
