At First Sight

Weekend came and Lilac couldn't contain both her excitement and anxiousness. She kept pacing back and forth inside her room.

Suddenly, her phone rang. She ran to picked it up on her table.

"Hello!" She said cheerfully. Her smile dropped when she realized who it was.

"Saya yan, bru?" Came Amber's teasing voice. "Tatanong ko lang kung ano yung pinapagawa sa Broad Journ natin ni Mam Penny?"

Lilac filled her in with the details and they hung up.

Afternoon came and she decided to take a nap. She awoke at the sound of the clock and went to the bathroom to shower. She immediately changed into a comfortable pair of square pants and a simple blouse. She let her hair hang loose and went downstairs.

"Oh anak. May mga nagdodoorbell na sa labas. Pasuyo naman at matatapos na etong ginagawa ko." Mom said and she nodded.

She went out of their house and to their gate and gasped...

"Carter?" She asked in disbelief and my eges travelled to the gorgeous man beside him who just got out of his car. He, too, had something in his hands. "A-adam?"

Carter let out a smile at her but frowned when she mentioned another name.

He turned to his left and his eyes widened in recognition.

Adam's eyes did the same.

"Onin?" "Adam?" Both said in unison.
"Walanjo! Ikaw pala yan!" Both men laughed and even gave each other high-fives.

"Hello, Lilac." Both chorused and it was her turn to blink at them.

"Lilac, this man beside me is Adam. My best dude." Carter said grinning at her.

"Nice to finally meet you, baby." Adam said and winked at me.
