Chapter 7: Under Attack

As they each jogged beside Titan while filming they suddenly heard a loud whoosh as two F 22 Raptors flew overhead, just high enough to avoid hitting the tree line. Then they came back around for another pass, shooting a few missiles into the huge base. As they blew up Titan looked over the railing in anger, he then turned to the spiral staircase, he suddenly shifted up it, the news people seeing this quickly took chase to see what he would do. As they got to the top they were there just in time to see and record Titan shooting a huge lightning bolt out of his hand at one of the jets. It exploded on impact, causing the remnants to come crashing down into the forest luckly missing the base. As the other jet came around it started firing its guns to try and kill the monster that shot down his wing man. He missed Titan, so Titan suddenly fired a ball of kinetic energy at the jet. He blew off one wing, sending it crashing into the tree they were in. As the three of them came down with the tree, Titan jumped and shifted from falling object to falling object, unfortunately as he tried jumping he jumped into the camera man Brendan. He quickly tried saving himself by shifting towards the ground. Then as he came out of the shift he tripped because he didn't realize that Brendan was accidentally brought with him. So they both hit the ground and rolled. As Titan got back up he saw the camera man on the ground, but then saw Kenny just standing over him, looking down at him with a hand outstretched to help him up.

Then Kenneth asked: "Are you alright my lord?"

Titan responded saying: "Yes, fine."

Kenneth says: "You should be more careful, cause one of these days you're going to land on something as stubborn as you are, and I don't do bits and pieces."

Titan just looked at him with a disappointed look and said: "Hm, Well?... What's the damage report?"

Kenneth's response was: "Well, three towers were destroyed, the mine entrance collapsed, 20 phantoms killed, 5 wounded, 10 enslaved were killed, and the vehicle bay was damaged, 2 tanks in the bay were blown to bit, 4 warthogs were blown up or damaged, and 1 mongoose was thrown from the blast. We're still checking for anyone else, but the majority of our forces were busy in the town rounding up people and crushing anyone who continues to fight or resist us."

Titan looked back at him with a disappointed look, then he turned away with an angry expression and asked: "Where's that camera man?"

Kenny, confused, askes: "Why? What does he have to do with this?"

Titan responded clearly agitated with him: "Don't you, get it fool?! He was sent with that woman to show the army where we are, and where our possible weak points are!"

Then Kenneth, now obviously understanding, says: "I'm not sure..."

Then Kenneth turned to some phantoms that were running by them to find the stairs to go down into hole in the ground that led to the different rooms. He tells them to get some phantoms together and find that camera man.

Down by the gate into the base some phantoms stand guard. Brendan the camera man is hiding in a bush nearby, suddenly a phantom rides up to the gate and gets off a mongoose to tell them about Brendan and that Titan wants him alive. Brendan seizes the opportunity to run out and get on the mongoose. The others see this and start running at him, but they're too late and he takes off out the gate and down the dirt road.

The phantoms with a worried look on their faces say: "I'll go tell Titan we found him, and apologize for failing to catch him."

The two that were guarding the gate agreed and said in a worried tone: "Good luck..."

Back on the road with the group of friends, they're driving alone on a long bairn stretch of highway, but then the fuel light comes on.

Hayden, who is driving, says: "Oh, no."
