Chapter 3

Johnny pov

It's been more than a week since my parents died, I didn't speak to my siblings, I told myself it was my fault, I felt guilty, I asked the university if I could get a few days off, to organize a funeral, knowing there won't be one. I hated myself, why couldn't I save them?

"Hey babe. What is it? Still mad at your siblings?"

"Mostly of myself. I don't know what to do, I want them back.", I cried.

"Oh babe, I wish I could bring them back. We will get this, okay?"

In the next days I barely left the house, it was hard as it was theirs before, but I couldn't risk that anyone finds out the truth about it.

Andy pov

We've been on our way to the other side now for a few ours, they gave us some kind of tuned mars rover, it was slow and annoying, I drove because Mika still had these attacks where he went crazy.

"Andy?"

"Mh?"

"We met in high school, right?"

"Yes?"

"You followed me home?"

"So far so good."

"We made out....I stopped because of....Nic! Ah! My head!"

"Mika?", he jumped out of the 'car', again he went crazy.

After a few minutes, he came back.

"You're, okay?"

"Yes...no!", he said jumping towards me, scratching my arm with his claws.

"Ah!", his eyes got green again, and he became normal.

"No. Andy. What have I done? I promised to never hurt you."

"You remember?"

"Yes. Let me see.", I slowly gave him my arm, afraid he changes back.

"Your wrist....it got a bite mark."

"Yes."

"Was that me? Did I propose to you?"

"Yes, you did."

"Okay. Can we stop at the next hotel?"

"Sure. Where is it?"

"According to the map in a few kilometers."

"Alright, then."

We stopped at the hotel and ordered food to our room, after dinner he did something unexpected.

"Can you kiss me?"

"Okay? I mean we're married, I still know you, but you? Are you sure?", he just nodded.

I slowly came closer and pressed my lips on his, he closed his eyes and pulled me closer, he was a bit shy but soon he went deeper, I loved him like on the first day, but he made it hard for me, we did it like we always did, his dots glowing like stars, his eyes fully green, I felt like this had to bring any memories back.

"This was amazing, I can't remember I did that before, but apparently I did.", he smiled lying next to me, it was weird that he didn't place his head on my chest, like he normally does.

"Remember the first time we did that?"

"No, not yet."

"Well, it will come to you. But you apparently you remember me again.", his smile vanished, and he looked at me in shock with a 'sorry' in his eyes.

"Really?! Are you kidding me?!", he just looked at me.

"I need air.", I went out on the roof, I can't believe it I thought he was back, but no, he used me, he doesn't even know who I am or what this meant to me.

My heart broke again, I started to think about if it's even worth it, maybe I should go back and leave him behind, he wouldn't care anyways, why would he care about someone he can't remember?

Mika pov

What have I done? I'm a monster, I used his trust, I should've told him I can't remember him and that I just did it to find out if I remember. Now he's gone, I need to talk to him and apologize. I went to the roof, trying to see him around, but he sat on the edge.

"Hey."

"What? Want to use me again?"

"No, I'm sorry, I should've told you why I wanted to do it, I wanted to know if it brings something back.", I said sitting next to him.

"I'm a stranger for you right?"

"Somehow, I feel a connection with you, I can't define. I trust you, I would never trust a stranger."

"You trusted me in high school, I was a stranger for you."

"I suppose it was the same connection. I wanted to know."

"That's not the point!", he jumped up and yelled.

"You f****** slept with me! I dont want a 'I just wanted to know'!"

"But...I..."

"I'm not even sure anymore if I want to fight for you! The past 20 years gone! 20 years! I wanted to help you, I told myself to fight for you, for us! But you go crazy every time you remember something, f*** me and tell me you don't even know who I am! Do you have a single idea how hard this is?! No probably not, as you deleted everything up there! I won't risk the lives of the kids, when I bring back a crazy alien, who doesn't even remember them! You know what? Piss off!"

"I want to fight for us.", I said with wet eyes.

"Get out of my sight."

"Sure?", he didn't answer.

"Okay...." I felt a force which was trying to pull me back, but I didn't care, apparently, he doesn't care anymore.

Andy pov

He walked away and I tried to hold his shirt with my powers but he just walked away, his powers were much stronger than mine, it was for him like nothing happened. I looked after him, tears falling down on my cheeks, I still love him more than anything, but this situation is hard for me, the love of my life doesn't know who I am. I walked back down to check how he was, but as I entered the room he was gone, I went to the receptionist, hoping he saw him.

"Excuse me, have you seen a tall blue skinned man with curly hair?"

"Yes, someone like this ran out a few minutes ago."

"Which direction?"

"Sorry, I don't know."

"Thanks anyway."

I ran out and looked around, the rover was still there, I jumped in and drove around trying to find him. What if he has one of these attacks again? I can't leave him out there alone.
