"Venti can you read this please" aether said pushing the papers to his chest.

Venti's fingers reached for the sheet of paper and read the contents. His eyebrows knotted together and eyes became teary. But he held back on crying in front of teyvat's famous traveller. His friend. His mind drifted and thought to when she was his friend. During this time aether became more worried, looking at venti edge saw the small pools of despair clouding his eyes, the shaking hands, the laboured breaths and the shadow that cascaded down his face.

"Where did you get this traveller?" Venti coldly asked not bothering to look at him.

Aether sighed "paimon and me find pages all over teavat and we looked over them and the pages connected."

Venti have a hefty laugh. Although no real amusement was present. This made Paimons stomach churn with unease. Aether got the sorrow venti felt and asked paimon to pick some apples.

"Seriously why do you always get peckish at the wrong times. I want to hear this story." Paimon posted while stomping her foot on nothing as she was floating emergency food in the eyes of aether.

But reluctantly she went and picked the apples.

"You know traveller you always find a message in the most pointless of things. But I suppose I should thank you for dinging this again. If I may be so bold to ask can you find the rest of the pages." He asked his head slightly turned upwards to see aether now.

Aether nodded his head "only if you tell me who she is."

"Ok"

"Her name was benevolent. She was a spirit like me. Although I was of wind she was of the moon. Stunning. Not after the fall of old Mondstadt me and her parted ways. It was for a short while as I later found her in the archon war. The horrid landscape housing the wrath and anger of fallen gods.

She was in a different form though and went by the name y/n her archon name will always be Benevolent as mine is Barbatos.

Although 12 days before the war ended she fell in a place of no wind and only the regrants remaining fury.

I wrote this book to remind myself of her.

I don't won't to forget her like I forgot him.

His face.

His smile.

His kind, welcoming eyes.

What will be left if I can't remember her? I'll question myself that but I'll never find the answer so to preserve her memory after the book was torn I wore Cecelia's. Now she can forever live on with me."

Venti finished with a sad smile on his face and a hand on his heart and a stray tear coating his crimson checks while staring at the sky.
