I know I haven't posted in a couple of months. I lost motivation for writing and pretty much everything, but after realizing I could die at any moment and leave you beautiful beings in the dark on the ending of the story, imma update it

When we arrived to where she was we found her on the ground, bloodied and unconscious. Primrose. Our friend. The one person in our life who managed to make Aera stop trying to eat Legos. The person who put herself between Crash and his abuser. The person who taught Min how to do her makeup.

My best friend. My first friend. I left her side and now she's laying in a pool of her own blood, surrounded by the people who did it to her. Still, there right in front of her, was Verose, her face was bruised and she was covered in blood, but she stood between Prim's unconscious body and the attackers.

She was a better friend than any of us had been to Primrose. She was there, she took a beating, and she fell to her knees, because she was too weak to stand, from the beating she had taken to protect her friend. Verose looked up, holding her side. Her eyes met mine and she scowled. The anger faded from her eyes as she fell unconscious as well. Aera and Min moved before me, bellowing in anger and hitting the girls who had hurt our friend. I only stood there, my eyes moved from Prim to Verose as anger and regret consumed me.

I wasn't angry at the girls for hurting Prim. I wasn't angry at Crash for getting himself sent away, so he couldn't be her shield anymore. I wasn't angry at Aera and Min for charging into this dangerous situation. I wasn't even angry at Verose, in fact I was grateful for her being here to try and protect my friend.

I was angry with myself. Angry that I missed the signs. Angry that I never got the full story. Angry that I just left her side. Angry that I wasn't the one unconscious on the ground beside her. Instead I was standing her like a coward, perfectly fine.

Rage took over and I charged the girls, there were easily a dozen of them, of course we stood no chance. Still we fought until we couldn't. We punched until our fists went numb and then we kicked until our legs got limp. We had fighting experience, but not enough to handle a group this large. We were still weak.

Just as we were ready to give up I saw a girl off in the distance, running towards us. Behind her was a large group of boys. When they reached us the boys didn't hesitate to put themselves between the girls and us, as we circled around Prim and Verose, protecting them from any further harm. I recognized the girl as Verose's friend, Jia.

The girls got scared and retreated. I don't blame them, though. These boys are scary, they're big and some of them are covered in tattoos. One boy picked up Verose and another picked up Prim. Jia told them who we were and not a single one of them gave us a friendly look. They all glared, ready for murder.

A boy with white hair approached me. He smiled softly and told his men to calm down, saying we proved ourselves by sticking by their side until the end. He ordered his friends to assist Aera and Min in walking.

I followed, but lost my footing and tripped. I was ready to pass out, but the boy caught me. He picked me up and held me in his arms, smiling kindly at me and telling me I could sleep. Another boy with black hair and blue eyes came up beside him and placed an ice pack on my head, it wasn't cold at all. It seems like he just pulled it out of his pocket after it being there for hours. He gave me me a small smile, before his face went serious again.

I woke up in the same room as Aera and Min, they said they'd been awake for a bit and had a talk with the boy with white hair. Said he was nice, but he has this look in his eye, as if he were capable of things we didn't even want to imagine.
