Secure North
Arewa is bleeding,
It's heartbreaking to hear,
It's painful to bear,
People are sacred,
People are depressed,
In our land, we called our home.
The violence and bloodshed,
In the north,
Killing innocent lives,
Burning innocent bodies,
Raping innocent women,
People are being tortured
And held captive,
Like their lives don't matter.
Our trusted leaders are silent,
The government is silent.
We need to fight for justice,
We need to fight for security,
We need peace to secure the north.
