Y/n, Freddy, Katie, Zack, Tomika, and Lawrence all headed to the ice cream parlor. Talking about anything and everything.
"Do you think we're gonna have to put up with Mr. S for much longer?" Lawrence asked.
"Probably not, I mean did you see class today. He can't even spell his name." Y/n replied, rolling her eyes.
"Exactly," Katie exclaimed.
"Well once he's gone we'll get stuck with Mrs. 'Dumbum' again so I say just appreciate not having to do work for a few days," Freddy said
"Yeah, Y/n you can write in that stupid black book of yours all day," Zack said Nudging Y/n
"It's not stupid," Y/n said sheepishly.
"Then why won't you let any of us see it?" Freddy asked with a sarcastic smile,
"Because, Fredward I appreciate privacy, something you will later discover," Y/n replied, walking through the parlor doors as Freddy puts his hands up in a surrender mode.
"Anyway, what are you guys getting?" Katie asked,
"Uhh, probably Cookies & Cream," Lawrence replied pulling out his wallet.
"Moose Tracks," Y/n said, pointing to the different Ice Cream flavors.
"Yeah, same," Zack said smiling at Y/n
"Oreo," Freddy replied. "How about you girls go find a seat and we'll get the ice cream yeah?" Freddy asked as both girls shrugged and went to find a seat.
"So Katie, Any boys?" Y/n asked smirking as Katie blushed.
"No, but there is a girl I'm starting to like," Katie replied looking down at her feet.
Y/n gasped as she grabbed Katie's arm, "Who?" She said excitedly, gripping her friend's arm.
"Her name is Lizzie and she's so cool. She plays guitar!" Katie said blushing as she thought of her one crush.
"Does she like you back?" Y/n asked.
"Maybe I don't know." She sighed, "We flirt a lot and have kissed a few times but she doesn't want anything to go public, it's like she's ashamed of me."
Y/n scrunched up her nose as she moves her hand into her friends, "I'm sure she's not ashamed of you, she could just need time to figure out who she is. She might not want to date you just yet but give her time. Let her come to you when she's ready." Y/n said earning a small smile from Katie.
"Anyway, what's going on with you and Fredward?" Katie asked, sitting up straight.
"Me and Freddy?" she asked, "Nothing's going on we're just friends, barely even that," Y/n replied, looking at the blonde boy who was paying for everyone's food.
Katie raised an eyebrow, "If you're just 'friends' why do you always make heart-eyes at him during class, surprised he hasn't noticed you staring at him all the time." Katie said with a smirk.
Y/n's eyes widened, "I do not stare at him all the time." She protested.
"Yes, you do." Katie chuckled,
"No, I don't."
"Yes, you do."
"No, I don't."
"Yes, you do..."
"What does she do?" Lawerence asked, handing Y/n her ice cream. As the rest of the boys sat at the table.
"Always wright in that book of hers," Katie said with a wink, grabbing a spoonful of her ice cream.
"Oh yeah, she does," Zack replied slightly laughing.
"Sure," Y/n replied rolling her eyes with a sarcastic smile, making Freddy roll his eyes back playfully
"Don't deny it Y/l" Freddy said smirking at her,
"Anyway...You all excited about music class tomorrow?" Y/n asked, desperate to get the attention off of her.
"Oh yeah, it's the only lesson we learn in," Zack said fist-bumping Y/n.
"Have you convinced your dad to let you get an electric guitar yet?" Y/n asked Zack, only to have him sigh and shake his head.
"He says it's a waste of time," Zack replied,
"No offense, but your dad is a dick," Y/n said smirking.
"None taken." He chuckled.
"I hate playing the cello, It's so big and it makes my back hurt man," Katie complained,
"I have to bang two pieces of metal together because I'm too stupid to do anything else." Freddy groaned.
"You're not that stupid, you just don't put the effort in," Y/n replied.
"Thanks," Freddy said sarcastically.
"You could probably learn guitar if you spent a bit of effort on it. I could teach you." Y/n shrugged.
"Yeah, you'd do that?" Fredy asked,
"Yeah of course I would," Y/n said looking at Katie who was making heart signs with her hands.

Meanwhile, Dewey Finn was back in his apartment, coming home from a very long day of sitting on his ass in front of a bunch of teenagers.
"OK. Yes, you can be in my band." Dewey said jumping on his seat "But, Ned, no power plays, man. I've got vision up the butt, so just go with it."
"No, thanks," Ned replied
"You're not a teacher, Ned. You're the cross-dressing, blood-sucking incubus from Maggot Death. That's the real you." Dewey protested, not taking no for an answer.
"Dewey, I'm not a satanic sex god anymore. I'm a working stiff. And that's cool." Ned said with a small smile.
"She's got you brainwashed," Dewey said, gesturing towards Patty.
"I'm working." She said, not bothering to look up.
"That's terrific. But who are you, babe? This is my apartment, babe." Dewey said sarcastically.
Not if you don't pay your rent, it's not. Get a job." Patty spat.
"I got a job. I'll have rent by the end of the week. Go tell the mayor." Dewey replied smugly.
"You got a job. Doing what?" Patty asked.
"I do what Ned does, temping," Dewey said pointing to Ned.
"I'm not a temp. I'm a sub. And soon I'll be a certified teacher." Ned whined.
"Come on, man! One show, a $20,000 prize, we split it 60/40. Grab your bass and come back to the garage. I mean, don't you miss rocking out?" Dewey asked once again.
"If you think anyone is gonna be in a band with you, you're more delusional than I thought," Patty replied, rolling her eyes.
"Dewey, you know, maybe it's time to give up those dreams. I did, and things are going great for me." Ned said with a small smile again.
