Jackson hadn't remembered when he had fallen asleep. As he broke out of his sleep he realised that Namjoon was no longer there. A wave of panic ran through him and he stumbled over Mark and Jinyoung's bodies, running to Namjoon's room.
The wardrobe had been emptied and the room had been cleaned to the point it felt sterile. All of evidence of Namjoon being there was gone, apart from a single note on the bed. With shaky hands, the blond read the note. It held only two words,
'I'm sorry.'
Tears blurred Jackson's vision and he fell to his knees by the bed. Guilt tearing mercilessly at him as he sobbed.
