Yeosang woke up in an unknown room, in an unknown house. All was there was a note saying that he has five days to try and escape. Doesn't sound hard, right?
Well, if you include monsters, difficult tasks, a demon, a vampire hiding many secrets, and...
~ ꠸ꪻ all felt like a dream. A terrible one at that.
Yeosang blinked wearily, his limbs weighing heavier than lead. Then, he shot up, suddenly more awake. He took notice of the fact that he is back to wearing his sweater and jeans.
His eyes scanned the room. Damned red.
I'm still here.
His muscles were sore and his mouth felt dry. The wound on his stomach ached as he sat up. A searing pain burned on his neck and he lifted a finger, tenderly tracing over the spot. He lightly pressed down, hissing.
"Hello, doll face."
Yeosang jumped, whipping his head around. His eyes found the vampire leaning against the door with his arms crossed over his chest. He was wearing his usual red outfit, the little streak of red slashing his right eye.
"Did you sleep well?"
The human gaped at him. "How am I...still alive?"
Seonghwa chuckled, unfolding his arms as he started to approach the bed. The human eyed him wearily, resisting the urge to shuffle away.
"Well, I do have the choice to kill or keep you," he says, taking a seat on the edge of the bed, "and I chose to keep you."
Yeosang furrowed his eyebrows, the wound on his neck throbbing.
"For...how long?"
"Why, forever, of course," the vampire replied with a little smirk. The human's eyes widened in response.
"But, I'm...human?" Yeosang said questioningly.
Seonghwa chuckled again, his fangs peeking from his mouth as he did so.
"Yes, you are human," he confirms, "but you cannot die, even if you try."
The human blinked at him. "What?"
"What did you think the bond was for?" the vampire asked almost incredulously.
"Bond?" the boy felt his breath hitch.
"Yes, bond," he replied, lifting a hand and reaching towards the other, causing him to flinch away. The vampire seemed tentative before laying his hand on the side of the human's neck and gently tracing over the bite mark with his cold fingers.
