Authors note- So I guess i'm not all that good at putting out updates on time. Sorry about that 😓. Anyway this chapter is gonna be kinda shorter than the others, so lets get into it.
Kanao's Pov :
"Hello?"
I freeze. Slowly I walk into view of the two and wave awkwardly. "Are you lost?" the girl asks. "Um, uh no? I'm fine" The girl raised an eyebrow. "Err, yeah, I am" "How about you come down here so we can talk easier." I was hesitant and pulled out my coin on instinct and flipped it. Heads I'll stay up here and keep walking, tails I go down and talk with the girl.
Tails. As always.
I was disappointed that I resorted to using the coin again after doing so well without it recently, but I didn't know what to do.
I climbed down the hill, careful not to slip. Ugh, this damn kimono. It would have been so much easier if I was still in my uniform. "I'm Makomo, and the one on the rock is Sabito." "Uh, I'm Kanao," I say without flipping my coin. While I still need it sometimes, I don't want to completely ruin the progress I've already made. "It's nice to meet you. So what brings you to the Sagari Mountains? Not many people come here unless being taught by Urokodaki san? Are you a new student of his? " I was stunned by all her questions. Who knew such a small girl could talk so much? "Uh no, I'm looking for someone named Kamado Tanjiro. Do you know him?" " Yes, we do." Hmm, I turn to look at the boy on the rock. Sabito, I think his name was?"If you're trying to follow him you were going the right way. He said he was going to his sister's tea party I believe." "Would you perhaps be able to give me directions, and maybe tell me where I am?" "What do you mean?"
I explained the situation i was in to Makomo and Sabito. From chasing Rabbit Tanjiro and falling down the hole, the talking doorknob and magic food, and my conversation with Urokodaki San. It was the most I talked to someone that wasn't Shinobu San or Tanjiro.
"Oh, your in Wonderland." Wonderland? As in Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Isn't that a book by this person named Lewis Carrol? I remember Shinobu introducing me to English literature as she said it would be educational. The only story I really cared for was Alice in Wonderland. Did a demon use its blood art to trance port me into the book
3rd Person Pov:
Makomo gladly gave Kanao directions to where Nezuko would be holding her tea party. Kanao continued her journey through the woods very confused on what was happening. "How did I end up in the world of Alice in Wonderland ?" ,"Was this a demons doing or some other worldly phenomenon?". And most importantly "How do I get home?"
