Chapter 74 { Daki vs Tanjiro }

Daki POV

What's wrong with him? This is the first time i saw him excited like that. Other than his excitement when he is going to kill a pillar. This one is different. Maybe i should visit that brat...i want to know what brother saw on her. I'll deal with the blonde girl first.

Uzui pOV

"Just like i said there is a demon like this bwoooh" inosuke said while gesturing what the demon look like while tanjiro stared at him like he is thinking if inosuke is right on the head. "Zenitsu won't be coming" they both stop when i said that. "What do you mean by that?" Tanjiro asked while inosuke wondered how uzui got there without making any sound. "Both of you leave now. If there is really an upper moon here, you can't deal with them. Your ranks are too low." I commit a grave danger by using them to find my wife. Now zenitsu is missing. He stopped contacting me last night and his whereabouts is unknown. From now on I'll move on own. "I will regard people who stopped sending me message as dead." I told them as i disappeared living the both of them there.

Tanjiro pov

"We will find him inosuke" i told the boarhead and he nodded living out spot. I believe that there is really a demon here. As of now..i can sense it in several places. I told uzui-san about it but based on what he is talking earlier...maybe he didn't read the letter or someone block the letter from getting to him.

I'll move on my own too. I get back to the house and visit koinatsu-san. I bid my farewell to her that this is my last time visiting. I also apologize for dressing as a girl and i was surprised that she known it from the very beginning. I thanks her for not telling the others about my reall identity cuz i have my reasons to do it in the first place.

Inosuke pov

"Mice! My swords!" I yell as uzui's familiar appeared carrying my sword. Time to mince some demon! I destroy one of the floor on the room as i saw the passageway. Time to kill some demon! Pig Assault!

Uzui pov

Using my ninja skills i easily infiltrate one of the houses. "What happened to zenko and hinatsuru...answer me quickly" i asked the head of the house and told him not to look back. "Zen-nko vanished...hinatsuru got sick. I then asked him who do he suspect and he remained quiet and scared. I told him to not worry because i uzui will avenge his losses. "An orian named warabahime...she lives in a room of the northern part of the building where the sun can't penetrate." Finishing gathering information i disappeared and reappeared on her room. "She's not here...maybe hunting people" i decided to head to hinatsuru location for a while to gather some information. I'll get here at dawn, I'm sure the demon will get gere at that time and I'll end it with my own hands.

Tanjiro pov

Wearing my demon slayer uniform and carrying nezuko box on my back. Jump from roof to roof. I can tell the demon is here, none can escape my senses. I open the sliding window as i saw the demon and koinatsu-san as her captive. "So, you came...your the brat that my brother is talking about." I scream at her to let go of koinatsu-san but it seems that i pissed her off. "Who do you think your talking to!" She angrily said but with my instinct i unsheated my sword and [Breath of the Sun, Scorching Crimson Sun]. I slice every sash from left and right to defend my self making her surprised as suddenly [Breath of the Sun, Sun waltz!] i cut the sash that was holding koinatsu-san captive grab it and jump outside.

Daki pov

What the hell did just happen...i didn't see nor feel anything. My sash instantly burn and my captive has been taken away by him. So this is the guy that brother told me about to be careful.

I can't sense any fear from him nor shaking from his body. He is not like the pillars that i encounter so far. I jump to the roof where i could see him loosing the box strap on his back and put it on the ground.

His mark on his forehead become big and now its on his mouth. His presence has disappeared...bloodlust or intent to kill like he is not here at all.

I could feel my body trembling. I breath heavily and due to unknown circumstances my sashes automatically move to defend me but for what? I asked my self as i saw the brat no longer standing there. I look around and my sashes has been cut in several pieces. "Ni..chan" i thought as i know that his the reason my sashes move directly to defend me.

My instinct is telling me to run and hide but... I'm an upper moon! Why would i hide just because he cut my sashes. I will kill him for sure!

Tanjiro pov

I hurriedly stopped my next attack as i sense her presence become much more stronger. The people near us scream at us to stop because they are sleeping but suddenly...

"That man will definitely praise me!" She scream as every houses on the area has been cut to bits by his sashes and got destroyed killing the human inside of it. Some of the slashes hit me as i hit the ground with a thud.

That's hurt but im fine...i can still fight! This is why i trained so hard...to become stronger and finally defeat the demons standing on my way! "SET YOUR HEART ABLAZE!" I remembered the words from rengoku as suddenly my breathing go back to normal and i appeared behind the demon [Breath of the sun, Dance of The Sun God]

Daki pov

"DIE!" I scream as i successful block his horizontal and vertical slashes. I extend my slashes and hit him but his not going down as suddenly he once again disappeared [Parhelion Sun Dance]

I heard as i look above me, i send every sashes i have to kill him but he rotate on the air to evade everything. [Fire chariot] tanjiro though as daki notice that tanjiro is no longer above her but...below her. "YOU!" daki scream as she hurriedly turn around and swing her hand at her fastest speed but...her hand got cut of by tanjiro's blade burning her whole arm avoiding it to regenerate. [Soaring Sun Haze] with tanjiro's blade on fire...no one can deflect his attack as his blade hit daki's neck and successfully cut if off.

Uzui pov

I'm done rescuing my wives and those shitty brats and told them to follow me and end the upper moon once and for all.

But when i got there...the demon head is on the ground while it's body is burning, tanjiro is standing near it, soon he turn around and go back where his little sister box is while not minding the demon's struggles to live. "AHHHHHH! IT'S HURT! IT'S HURT!" the demon scream.
