"Speech"/'Thoughts'/"Whispering"
POV : 3rd; The next day
We look into what seems to be a small inn room, with Y/n sleeping in it. Soon enough, Y/n is awakened, and sits up, stretching... and somewhat moaning in delight.
Y/n : 'Man... I've never slept this good ever since I was 9...'
He thinks to himself, yawning. He gets up and goes on with his daily morning routine, before finding two hardboiled, salted eggs on his counter.
Y/n : 'Huh... They're still hot... Oh, right, I paid extra for breakfast this time. I forgot.'
He thinks to himself, finding a save point right in the corner of his room.
*Seeing the hardboiled eggs still heated fills you with the power of hardboiled eggs... and an unusual determination.
FILE SAVED
He then heads to the guild, where he agreed to meet Aqua and Kazuma, and sits down at a table, playing around with the "toy" knife he got the other day.
And so Kazuma and Aqua FINALLY come to his table.
Kazuma : "Heyyyy ! Let's hope you didn't wait for long...!"
Y/n : "...no, I haven't."
Kazuma : "Wait, reall-"
Y/n : "Just about three hours. Yeah, not that long."
He bluntly tells him with a deadpanned face.
Kazuma : "Well, you can always look at Aqua with that same look, considering I woke up three hours ago and she just woke up."
Aqua : "H-Hey now, I couldn't help myself when I heard we won't work today."
Y/n : "...right."
*KILL QUEST :
DEFEAT FIVE TOADS WITHIN THREE DAYS
Not even a minute into the quest, and we already hear Kazuma screaming while running away from a giant toad.
Kauma : "Save me, Aqua ! Save me- woah !"
He just barely manages to get away from the toad jumping at him.
Aqua is literally rolling on the ground laughing while Y/n is just looking at her.
Aqua : "Oh man, this is hysterical ! Kazuma, your face is red and you have tears in your eyes ! You look super desperate !"
Y/n : "I don't think that's something to be laughing at, Aqua..."
Kazuma glares at her while running, thinking to himself.
Kazuma : 'I'll bury her later, before I head home...!'
Y/n : 'Giant toads... They can't be dismissed as simple frogs. Apparently, when mating season comes, they show up in settlements with lots of prey, and swallow the farmers' goats whole to build up strength in preparation to lay their eggs... Even children and farmers from that settlement have been going missing thanks to these guys. Their meat is sorta tough, but it's so light and refreshing that it's a highly coveted ingredient.'
Aqua : "KAZUMA ! If you want me to save you, why don't you start adding 'san' to the end of my name ?!"
She yells to him from the distance.
