it's currently the fourth quarter with ten seconds seconds left. the grizzlies are currently three points away from losing.
syncere watches closely as the time on the clock runs out, morgan is sending de'Anthony "heart eyes" as he sits on the bench drinking water, alexis on the other hand is busy on her phone not caring that she's at an nba game with COURTSIDE SEATS!
not to mention that they haven't spoken to syncere since they introduced de'Anthony to her.
not only does that bother syncere it makes her feel quite irritated, since she was invited by them just for them not to care about the game.
she could careless about them not talking to her, at least pay attention to the game.
some people would kill to have seats like these or even be here.
despite syncere being upset about her friends, she has been enjoying herself not touching her phone once.
most people think that because syncere is a model she uses her phone 24/7, but that's the total opposite of what she does.
syncere always has her phone on do not disturb or she shuts it completely off.
anyways back to the game.
syncere watches as the grizzlies newest rookie ziare williams dribbles the ball and makes a no-look pass to the one and only ja morant.
there is only three seconds left in the game and ja attempts to do a step back three pointer.
everyone including me stands up as the buzzer goes off waiting to see if that ball will make it in.
it seems as if everything is in slow motion.
the balls makes it in flawlessly.
syncere begins clapping and shouting along with everyone in the arena.
all of ja's teammates swarm him to celebrate the win.

"ok girl i see you cheering for ja, y'all would be cute i'll ask de'Anthony to set y'all up." morgan says picking her nails.
"no thank you, i told y'all i'm not looking for a man."
"but that was the point of you coming." alexis says pitching in.
"i thought i told ya'll I was coming for the game and not the men nor the players."
"bu-hey guys." de'Anthony says cutting them off.
i mentally thank him for interrupting this uncomfortable conversation.
"hey, good game babe." morgan says kissing him on the cheek.
"thank you." he says cheesing.
"I have someone i want y'all to meet." de'Anthony says waving someone over.
i began to get nervous because, i have the worse anxiety especially when it comes to meeting new people.
you may be wondering why my anxiety wasn't bad when i met de'Anthony.
well, i already knew of him from watching the grizzlies games on tv.
anyways i see the gorgeous man i saw throughout the game, also know as ja morant.
as he gets closer i realize he's doing that athlete jog, which i never understood, like walk normal it's not hard.
"wassup, hey ya'll i'm ja " he says waving at us.
"hello my names alexis, good game by the way!" alexis says in a hyper tone.
i internally cringe because, she wasn't even paying attention to the game but i just brush it off so i don't make a bad/rude impression of myself.
"i'm morgan." she says shaking his hand.
last but not least......
"hi, I'm syncere, congrats on the win." i say waving while making eye contact with him.
"nice to meet you, and thank you." he says keeping eye contact.
"that's the girl i was telling you about." de'Anthony says quietly but nudging ja's shoulder whilst smirking.
i make a slightly confused facial expression but brush it off.
"well i'm gonna go to the locker room now, nice meeting y'all." ja says walking away.
meeting ja made me realize these teenage girls who are "in love" with him are correct, he is very attractive.

"y'all ready to go now?" Morgan says walking towards us after saying goodbye to de'Anthony.
"yup." alexis and i say at the same time.
"ok, let's go!" morgan says walking towards one of the many exits in the arena.

soon after, we arrive at my house since it's the closest from the arena.
"thank you guys, i had fun." i say unbuckling my seatbelt.
"you are so welcome!" morgan says.
"we should have a girls day next weekend." alexis suggest.
"i'm done, as long as it includes drinks." morgan says.
"that sounds fun, just 'lemme know more details later." i say getting out the car.
"bye!" they say yelling out the car window.
"bye guys!" i say walking into my apartment complex.
what a night that was.
i still wonder what de'Anthony meant by, "that's the girl i was telling you about."

Hey guys! This concludes the end of chapter 3.
So far I'm not a huge fan, I feel as if the last few chapters could've been combined into one but some people have a short attention span.
