The vivid blue of the sea come and go as they drenched the smooth sand on shore. The sound of people running on the sand was still audible despite the waves crashing on to the dry land loudly. Suddenly those footsteps stopped.

Seele carefully untied the blindfold that blocked Bronya's sight while the silver haired girl hold onto the other girl's wrist for guidance due to her limited vision. After the blindfold was removed, Bronya slowly peeked her eyes open.

"Seele, why did you bring Bronya to the sea all of the sudden? Bronya is confused".

The petite girl giggled softly. "Bronya, do you still remember the promise you made in the orphanage?" The said valkyrie nodded in response. "Bronya promised Seele to take her to the beach".

Although Bronya was still confused as to why Seele suddenly brought her to the beach even though the promise was already fulfilled, Bronya couldn't deny the beauty of the beach underneath the night sky. The moon's reflection on the water being the highlight of them all and the stars accompanied the moon in the sky. It truly is mesmerising.

"Seele can never forget when Bronya said my eyes look like the sea itself. Seele was touched by Bronya's words. Ever since Seele went to the beach the first time, I like to think that the moon is Bronya and the sea is me. We look beautiful together," the Vollerei spoke with such innocence, an evident smile on her face.

Seele looked at Bronya, holding the silver haired valkyrie's hand.

"So my dearest Bronya, I decided to gift you a Homu plushie with a butterfly pin on its' head for your birthday because Bronya likes Homu and Seele likes butterflies. I think this plushie can remind you of me".

Bronya looked at the Homu plushie in her hand, looking at it with full awe. She gently stroked the Homu's soft ears as her eyes sparkled. Seele stood in front of Bronya, nervously waiting for a response.

"Seele, Bronya cannot thank you enough for this. Bronya truly appreciates the gift you gave me. Bronya will cherish it forever like how she will cherish Seele too". Bronya stepped closer to Seele and bent down a little to kiss Seele's forehead. The latter was surprised and blushed out of happiness.

"Bronya..". Seele wrapped her arms around the girl's waist as she buried her face on Bronya's neck. Bronya was stunned for a moment but then returned the hug.

They didn't speak, only enjoying each other's warmth in silence accompanied by the waves and the moon above them.
