It's all about revenge

Chapter 1

Taehyung's pov:

Taehyung was having a lot of mixed feelings, it was his first day of college but that's not just it.

Since Jimin was still close buddies with his ex, he warned Taehyung that Jungkook would be attending the same college. In matter of fact; he knew a few other familiar faces who were attending there also.

It has been years since he saw Jungkook and ever since that incident; Taehyung avoided the boy for the rest of the semester and begged his parents to move to Daegu. They understandably agreed as they knew about the break-up but not all of the details. All they knew was that Jungkook broke his heart.

Yoongi voluntarily wanted to move to Daegu as well, he was having family issues at home, he wanted to escape and took that chance.

This move both benefited Yoongi and Taehyung. His family welcomed him as their own.

As for the rest of his friends, they never stopped supporting him. Both of Taehyung's friend groups would come and visit him, at some occasions they would go on these road trips to just simply hang out and catch up.

It was Taehyung's decision to come back to Seoul for college and luckily his parents supported this. But they themselves decided to stay in Daegu, they had already built up a life there and it was time to hand their son his independence.

Nonetheless, they would miss him and so would he miss them. Taehyung took his time on bidding his goodbyes to his parents, this was his first time having to live away from them.

Unfortunately Taehyung didn't have his licence, and neither did his friends so he had to take a bus over. Which didn't bother him, after all he is a social butterfly.

The drive to the dormitory was a long drive to say the least, it took approximately 3 hours for Taehyung to finally arrive back in Seoul.

He's not afraid to admit but he missed it there, fond memories flew in as he stared out of the window throughout the drive. Any location has beautiful scenery but something about Seoul, Taehyung just felt the nostalgia rushing into his mind.

What's also been on Taehyung's mind while on the drive, was his plans.

So with a long week of knowing, Taehyung sort of came up with a plan, call him petty but he wanted to get back at Jungkook.

Taehyung's whole goal with this was to give the same energy back at him, a little bit of tasting of his own medicine.

But by doing that, he had to rekindle a few relationships, which brings him to why he had planned to meet up with Yugyeom. Taehyung was supposed to go out to lunch with him.

The first step of the plan was to befriend Yugyeom, he didn't want to go guns blazing and jump right into it. Taehyung had to be smart if he wanted to achieve the goal.

And his whole plan had already started the day Taehyung hit Yugyeom up on Instagram. The two dming each other all week and from that, he got the information of Yugyeom attending there as well.

Taehyung soon arrived, the bus stopped just down the road from it. He didn't find it to be an issue as Jimin was there waiting for him. They were texting each other back and forth throughout the drive.

It was just him, Hobi and Jimin that were going to this college. Oh and plus his own friend group, they all were hoping to do an acting course together. Just like they did drama class together back in high school.

Namjoon wanted to go abroad to do his studies as he was always the type to love travelling.

Jin decided to find a job in the cooking industry, he wanted to get the experience and college and study was the last thing on his mind.

Hobi, Jimin and Jungkook were doing a dance and music course, along with Yugyeom. While Taehyung was doing music and an acting course.

Jimin and Taehyung walk to the front desk to the university, checking in and to receive their keys to their dorms. Taehyung decided to stay on campus rather than renting out an apartment. He thought it would be accessible for him and more affordable.

Hobi was already there standing in line to receive his too. Taehyung and Jimin joined alongside him.

Taehyung was feeling nervous, a big part of him was hoping to room with either one of his friends. But he wasn't trying to further the stress about it, if he ends up rooming with a stranger, there's nothing he could do about it.

As all three received their keys, they all had different numbers written on them, making them go their separate ways for the time being.

And to his disappointment, his roommate was some guy he didn't recognise. Taehyung's first impression of the guy is that he had an innocent aura and had pretty features. What really stood out was his freckles and he kinda resembles a fairy or a pixie.

"Hey, I'm Taehyung, nice to meet you" To be polite, Taehyung introduces himself.

"Hi Taehyung, nice to meet you too I'm Felix" He hesitantly responded and Taehyung picked up on how Felix didn't seem to know Korean all that well. Assuming he's studying abroad or something of that nature.

They proceeded to have small talk, it turns out that Taehyung's assumptions were right. Felix was all the way from Australia and he only moved to Korea a while ago.

The little encounter from Felix drove away his stress as he seemed genuine. There's nothing worse than to be around a dickhead for most hours of the day.

Taehyung packed away his belongings, sorted everything away before he headed down to see Jimin and Hobi.

Jimin's roommate hadn't shown up yet and Hobi's roommate was also a stranger, Taehyung amused at that.

None of the students had classes that day, it was just a casual day to get ready for the semester and overall school year.

The rest of the morning was the three walking around the university building, to check out where everything was. And they made sure to visit their assigned classrooms (music, dance and acting/drama).

Taehyung departed from Jimin and Hobi to finally meet up with Yugyeom.

He didn't tell them where he was going, Jimin was still close with Jungkook so he didn't know how he would react to his plan of revenge.

Taehyung and Yugyeom ended up eating at a cafe that wasn't a far walk from the university building. And it seemed to be decent enough to dine at.

He smiled as he saw Yugyeom already waiting for him at the cafe.

"Nice to see you in shape, you have glowed up since you broke up with him" Yugyeom awed.

"What..? That's what he told you?" Taehyung's raised an eyebrow.

"Yeah, he said that you broke up with him, you should've seen him, you broke his heart" Yugyeom frowned, protecting his own friend.

Taehyung was too stunned to speak, he's never spoken to anyone but his close friends about what happened. He didn't think that Jungkook would spin this on him, making him as the 'bad' guy.

He just took that in and apologised, if Jungkook had already made up a narrative to everyone, then there's no way of making him believe his side to the story.

"It's okay and the person you need to apologise to is Jungkook, he didn't deserve that and you seem like a decent bloke who made a mistake" Yugyeom said confidently.

Taehyung just nodded "I-I'm not ready to speak to him but don't worry I will"

"It's fine and if we continue to talk, I'm not going to hold it against you but you're not off the hook" Yugyeom playfully jokes at the last part.

This only angered him more, yea there's no way Taehyung is backing out of this plan. With a flirty intent, Taehyung lightly places his hands on Yugyeom's own, chuckling and acknowledging his small joke.

And just in time, a waiter comes over to take their orders.
