It's all about revenge

Chapter 4

Sorry for not updating, I had a mini break but I'm back.

One thing led to another and Yugyeom was on his knees, sucking Taehyung off. Minutes later he finished in his mouth and returned the favour by jerking the boy off.

It was inevitable as it was part of his big revenge plan but Taehyung didn't expect them to hook up so soon. Although he wasn't complaining, it's been years since he had any action, Jungkook was the last person that he had been intimate with.

Taehyung didn't feel worthy enough to get involved with someone else. With Yugyeom it's different, it was a ticket to his plan. And a lot of his energy in this had a ton of pent up hurt and frustration he had against Jungkook. That was the strive and motivation behind all of it.

It all started with him and Yugyeom working on their music assignment together. They had worked their asses off all throughout the week leading up to this moment they've shared.

But it was later interrupted as Yugyeom had suddenly gotten a call, causing him to wrap everything up and leave him.

This particular day was Saturday, spending the remaining afternoon chilling with Jimin. Mostly included playing video games.

As the two boys were playing some overwatch, Felix enters the dorm, seemingly to have a big day out.

Jimin points at him as he recognises him, Taehyung eyebrows lifted at his friend's reaction.

"You're that Felix kid, am I right?" Jimin asked the boy.

Felix scratched his head shyly as he stopped his tracks "Uh yeah, do I know you?"

"No but a student from a year below me does."
Taehyung listens as his ears perked up with interest. Gossip that doesn't include him, he missed this. Pausing the game as their conversation continues.

"Oh? Does he have a name?" Felix followed up with a question, seemingly confused as to whom Jimin may be talking about.

"Yeah, he goes by Hyunjin" Taehyung notices a switch in Felix's mood, it was neither positive nor negative. In the bridge in between.
"He's Jungkook's roommate" Jimin mutters quietly to Taehyung, giving him more context and he hums in response. And nevermind, it includes his ex but he listens regardless.

Felix chuckles out of nerves, "What did he say exactly?"

"Nothing but positive and with honesty, by the way he talked about you, I'll assume that he likes you." Jimin sheepishly replies.

"Ah no, it's not like that at all. We've only exchanged a few words" Felix stutters.

"Well, from my perspective, he seemed to like you very much, make a move" Jimin encouraged him with a hint of a smile.

"Are you sure we're talking about the same person? To me, he seems constipated around me." Taehyung couldn't help but to snort out a laugh at that.

"Maybe he has his walls up," Jimin suggested.

"I don't know but anyways, as much as it was nice to meet you, I better head off." The two let him go and bid him goodbye.
Felix made his way into the bathroom and left to take a shower, Taehyung and Jimin gave each other knowing looks.
"They're gonna sort each other out" Jimin comments, having faith in Felix and Hyunjin's relationship.

Taehyung was tempted to argue but he bit his tongue. Him and Jungkook couldn't solve their issues, he drove him to cheat. Even though their situation wasn't close to his and Jungkook's, he couldn't help but to compare.

"Speaking of relationships" Jimin began to bring up a certain subject, Taehyung immediately tried to stop him from continuing that sentence "We're not here to talk about my ex."

Jimin shakes his head and chuckles with amusement. "I was actually going to talk about Yugyeom, don't be so defensive."

Taehyung sighed with a weak smile and dropped it "What about him?"

"You guys seem very friendly, is there something going on between you two?" Jimin accuses.

Taehyung licked his lips, is he really going to lie to his best friend? To his soulmate? He can't risk the news going to Jungkook, his plan won't work unless he's kept into the dark.

There was a minute of silence, Jimin looked at him questioningly. That is until Taehyung finally brought himself to answer "No, we're just friends, why?"

"I'm just asking, it's Jungkook's best friend Tae, isn't that off bounds?" Jimin accuses again, using a judgemental tone.

This is when Taehyung's inner hurt and frustrations started to build to the surface, trying his best to hold it in. The audacity to compare what he knows about Yugyeom to what happened with Jungkook. Nothing could justify what he put him through.

"That didn't stop him from riding Bogum" Taehyung impulsively replied, which caused Jimin to roll his eyes. "What?" Taehyung picked up on it. His control of emotions slipping through the cracks.

"You're not letting that go? It's been years Tae, Kookie is a good person, he made a mistake, move on" Jimin bites back, defending Jungkook.

"Excuse me? Don't fucking tell me to move on from an ex who cheated on me, with my friend for fucks sake." Taehyung raised his voice, fighting back the tears that's screaming to flow.

Jimin stilled in his spot, wasn't expecting Tae to lash out. He rarely loses control as he keeps his emotions to himself.

"Leave, the door is there" When Jimin didn't usher out a word; Taehyung pointed to the exit of the dorm in which Jimin didn't hesitate to follow his instructions.

Just as Jimin left, Felix popped his head in, checking on him as he could hear the commotion "Are you okay?"

"Does it look like I'm okay?" Taehyung again impulsively said but quickly apologised "I'm sorry, I'm gonna take a breather."

And with that, Taehyung left his roommate, shutting the door with force.

To blow off some steam, Taehyung walked to an abandoned field of land, where he finally broke down.

On his hands and knees crying into the sky, occasionally some screams.
Everything hurt inside.

Taehyung and Jimin hadn't spoken since their mini disagreement. A few days had passed with them avoiding each other at all cost, despite them being in the same music course.

Everytime their eyes landed on each other, Taehyung had a wave of remorse, he shouldn't have lashed out like that. Why was it so hard for him to move on? Jungkook destroyed him and he desperately needed to destroy him back.

Speaking of snakes, a familiar voice brought him back out of his thoughts. They were in the student lounge. "So, I heard on the grapevine that you and Jimin had a fight"

Taehyung kept his cool, pouring himself a cup of coffee as it was in the early hours. Giving him the silent treatment.

"It's like that is it? You can't dodge me forever Tae." He goes on.

Taehyung scoffed at the nickname "You lost the privilege of calling me by Tae."

"You know" Before he continued on he looked around to check their surroundings, "There's a reason why I cheated on you, your dick game is weak."

Instantly Taehyung felt a pang into the heart and he punched Jungkook in the jaw as a response. "Don't flatter yourself Jeon, it takes two to tangle. If I was bad at it, so was you."

He didn't let Jungkook argue back, leaving with his coffee. That didn't stop him from thinking back, was that why he cheated? Was he not pleasuring Jungkook the way he should have?
