It's all about revenge

Chapter 3

Taehyung's pov:

It was during his music class when Yugyeom invited Taehyung to a small get together. After a long week of college, Yugyeom had organised a tamed party for those that were close to him, in order to celebrate in a way, he did grow up with that nature about him.

Taehyung was both nervous and excited to go. He was excited because it was their first college party, even if it's not considered as one.

Most of his nerves come from his last encounter with Ae-ra, a very intimidating one that is.

Flashback:

All Taehyung did was gulp in response.

"Look, I don't know exactly what you did but all I know is that you hurt him" Ae-ra says with a stern tone.

"You're the reason why he has such trust issues." She pokes his chest with such force.

Taehyung was tempted to scoff but he bit his tongue.

"It took ages for him to commit to me, despite our strong feelings for each other"

"You must have hurt him pretty badly that even the mention of you he....he breaks down.." She struggled to get the last part out which put Taehyung off guard.

"After a few months of me dating Jungkook, he had finally moved on and he put you behind him. He finally became happy, we are happy together."

"I do not want you to ruin that for us, for him." With this her tone of voice softened.

"Please for the sake of Jungkook's well-being, stay the fuck away from us." Ae-ra's tone of voice builds back up to aggression.

"I don't fucking care if you're now friends with Yugyeom, keep Jungkook out of it. He does not need your shit, he's done."

"If Jungkook is near you in any way, don't interact, if he talks to you, ignore him and walk away"

"I know that right now he's giving you trouble or being rude but understand his perspective. You broke his heart, you're the cause of it so do him a favour and don't pay attention to him."

"If I find out that you hurt him, once again, I will not hesitate on hitting you where it hurts."

She finally takes a break from her mini speech but it didn't last long as she followed it up with the long-waited threat.

"And trust me, I have some tricks up my sleeve, check my track record. It's a long list" With that she instantly left, leaving a stunned Taehyung in the kitchen.

Taehyung throughout her little speech and threat, was frozen in his spot. He didn't have any energy or guts to speak out. At that moment, he felt pity for Jungkook, also he felt at fault. Did he make Jungkook feel mistreated in some way? Maybe it was all his fault, maybe he did drive Jungkook to cheat.

End of flashback

Taehyung being threatened, he had no problem with not interacting with Jungkook. He can still go through his revenge plan without that interaction, as long as Jungkook reacted a certain way; Taehyung would be pleased. The outcome of it all is very much worth it.

What was worrisome though, was this party that Yugyeom is throwing. Jungkook without a doubt would be going as well, including an angry Ae-ra attached to his side.

Not to mention Yugyeom is a part of Jungkook's circle of friends. So it's only fair for Taehyung to assume the worst when he would be targeted by everyone in the room.
