Three days after I found out I was dating a lying, cheating idiot.

The tiny black phone ringing woke me up. I was in Oliver's jacket, but I didn't remember putting it on.

"Hello?" I answer.

"Hey Gabriella." Oliver said.

"Hey Oliver." I said smiling. "Did you find what you were looking for?"

"Not yet, but I'll find it." He sounded excited. "So, how was your day yesterday?"

"Great. I really miss getting to hang out with my sister. And when I found that dress, I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it." Now I sounded excited. "Hillary paid for it because I agreed to watch June last night. So, what exactly are you looking for?"

"That I can't tell you."

"Why not?"

"You'll know soon enough."

"Please?"

"I can't. I promise you'll find out soon."

"Okay." I finally caved.

"So what are you doing today?" He questioned.

"I think I'll just swim today." I announced.

"That's all?"

"Yeah." He didn't respond for a minute. "I'm a competitive swimmer." I explained. "I'm on the swim team at school and everything."

"Oh, where are you going to swim?"

"I'm not sure yet. I think I'll talk to Hill first." I was walking around the room getting my stuff together.

"Making sure she's not going horseback riding?" He assumed. I laughed for a minute when I stepped on something that stabbed my foot.

"OW! Holy crap." I said jumping off my foot and landing on the bed.

"What happened?"

"I step on something." I looked at the bottom of my foot. Blood was dripping from it. "Oh man."

"What?" He was worried.

"I don't know if I can swim. Oh man, oh man, oh man." I held my head in my hands. Someone knocked on my door. "I got to go. Bye Oliver." I said quickly.

"Bye Gabriella." He said. "Be careful." He thought.

"Come in." I said hiding my phone and jacket.

"Hey, you okay?" Tyler said leaning in the door. "I heard you yell."

"I stepped on something." Tyler came over to look at my foot. "Did Hillary hear me?"

"No, she was sleeping like a rock." He went to the bath room and found a first-aid kit.

"Will I be able to swim?" I said flinching as he wrapped my foot.

"Not for a few days." He looked at me. Tyler knew how important swimming was to me. He was the one that taught me how to swim and suggested that I join the swim team. I put my head back in my hands. "Hey how about I take you horseback riding today? I can teach you to ride and everything. Just you and me, Kid. How's that sound?"

I looked at him through my fingers and smiled. I jumped up and hugged him. "Thank you so much Tyler."

"Okay, okay Ella. Just make sure you stay off that foot while you get ready." Tyler put my clothes in the bathroom, than carried me in there. He left me alone to shower, doctor my foot, and get dressed. Before I did anything, I called Oliver.
