(Lea's POV)
When is she coming back? Its been so long. Like honestly, it doesn't take that long to buy a few pieces of clothing. I was in bed at the hospital doing anything I could to distract myself from thinking about when Claudia would come back.
I look at the clock near my bed. 11:33 am. I'm hungry too. You know, now that I'm out of that hell hole, maybe I can get a proper meal. Maybe now my life will turn for the best.
But where will I stay? I cant go back. Do I go to the police? Will I go to school? I don't think I can cuz I'm too stupid to go. The only thing I would be good at is cleaning.
Without realizing, thinking about my future passed time really quickly. Just as I was about to call Claudia on the phone left for me to use in case of an emergency, she walked in the door looking eager to tell me something.
" Finally your ba-" I'm interrupted again when she lays down a piece of paper in front of me. What is with this girl and interrupting me. Geez.
I look down at the paper, expecting to see an ad for an apartment or something, but instead I'm staring down at myself. Well almost me. On my lap is a poster for a missing girl that was kidnapped 17 years ago from her parents. And on the poster is a picture of a baby girl and a morphed picture of what she would look like now. Under those pictures is the name of the missing girl. Lea Miller.
" They got my mouth all wrong. My lips are so not that shade of pink."
" I just found your possible parents and your worried about what the poster you looks like?"
" Um duh. How are people gonna look for me if it doesn't look like me? But besides that, I cant believe you actually found my possible parents. I'm so happy I wont have to go back to Verida. I cant wait to meet them! Thank you so much Claudia. I love you so very much. I don't know what I would do without you."
"I love you so much too Lea. I would do anything for you and i'll always be here for you no matter what. And we can fix your lips later. Right now you have to focus on your parents. There's a number on the poster that I'm guessing is one of your parents. I was gonna call and tell them myself, but I thought that you should do it. And be convincing when you call them."
"We need them to come and sign the papers that let you leave the hospital. After the Doctor came and said something is wrong with your results ,you blacked out. What was wrong was that your gonna do that for awhile and you need a legal parent or guardian to sign you out. I would do it myself but I cant. So ya, make it count." Claudia finished saying.
"Um ok. Well what do I tell them."
" Well you have to tell them something that will convince them to come here."
" Well ya I know that, but what should I tell them that will convince them? Why don't I just tell them that I saw the poster a few days ago, and then I saw me try to escape so I helped myself escape and brought me to the hospital. Except pretend i'm not me. Does that make sense?
" Um ya sure whatever. Just don't tell them your actually you cuz they might not believe it and come here. They might think that were just saying that for the money or something"
"K. But first, i'm starving. Did you bring me food?"
" No I didn't bring you food, i'm just gonna let you starve. Of course I brought you food."

(Ava's POV)
" Ok ok last ones. Which one is better, this swimsuit with the pretty colours, or this one with the nice design?" I asked my obviously bored husband. After watching a few movies and eating ice cream until our stomachs exploded, we decided to book a vacation to Jamaica. I'm so excited because i've never been there before and I want to get away from all this business stuff.
