After greeting many of the guests I went to go find Venus because I haven't seen her all day and I didnt even see her at my ball that she threw for me.

holding up my dress, walking as fast as I could, smiling at familiar faces along the way.

I see Venus

holy shit

she's making out with a guard, against a white pillar.

I take a deep breath and calmly walk over to her. I now stand behind her, waiting for her to finish up.

I cross my arms on my chest and sigh.

She gasped and quickly turned around but only for me to see her smeared and swollen lips.

"Zi haha I didn't know you were here, literally right behind me" she said awkwardly covering her lips with her hand.

"I was-" I started to say but was rudely interrupted by the kings advisor.

"my princess we need to leave now" He said with urgency in his voice.

I gave Venus a stern look and mouthed to her "we will talk about this later."

She nervously nodded and continued to go to find her father.

The advisor walked fast to where all the commotion was and I followed him.

I saw a big crowd around one man, they circled him from afar.

I couldn't see who it was clearly, but he certainly did not belong here, looking at his choice of clothes.

He is wearing all black and he had someone familiar with him.

I ran into the crowd, pushing past people, and I finally got into the circle.

They both looked at me with wide eyes, I was out of breath from pushing past people.

I heard murmurs and gasps along the crowd as I slowly walked closer to them.

"Princess?"

Liam smirked in victory, like he won something

I looked over to see my ex kidnapper with wide eyes and his jaw dropped.

"ah so you do remember me" I smiled

"I have a lot of questions so can we.." he looked around "can we go somewhere private please" he whispered.

"I agree with my uncle" Liam said, turning my attention back to him.

I narrowed my eyes at him

"what part of come next year did you not get" I said.

He smirked for the second fucking time and it made my heart skip a beat each time.

He didn't say anything else and just left it at that

I thought for a second but then realized that we were still in the middle of a crowd.

"Can we go now?" My ex kidnapper said
