"Alice!"

Footsteps were heard.

"ALICE!!"

My warmth was taken from me as I opened my eyes, seeing my little sister.

"Ugh...what so you want, Hannah?"

"Mom said you have to take me to the Rainbow Monkey store today! Rememeber?!" She asked.

"I can't you, Hannah, ask dad or Dylan..." I said. I smiled as I heard silence...until...

"Moooooooommmmmm!!"

Oh dear ....

"What's wrong Hannah? Alice? Wake up, you have to take your sister to the store, remember? Your dad and I have business to take care of and Dylan has soccer practice."

"What! He's my older brother! Is anything, he should be taking her." I told mom as I layed back down.

"Alice. Don't make me call your father." she said. I groaned.

"Fine..."

"Yaaaayyy!" Hannah began singing the rainbow monkey song... I pulled the pillow over my head.

"Today is going to be a long day.."

~~~
"Rainbow Monkey...~"
I grimaced as Hannah dragged me into the store, a group of wild kids running up and down.
"Alice! I wan'a balloon!" she said, pouting to the dude dressed up as in a Rainbow Monkey costume.
"Go ahead..." I said as she ran over. I sat down on the bench, my hands on my cheeks as I gave out a sigh.
"Why did it have to be Monkeys that are rainbow colored?" I asked myself.
"Maybe 'cuz they knew this would happen." someone said as they sat next to me.
"Ryder? What are you doing here?" I asked my friend. He sighed. "Your sister wanted a monkey too, huh?" I asked as he nodded.
"Cole at practice?" he asked as I nodded. "That sucks. Hey, wanna see what this monkey fiasco is all about?" He asked. I smiled, nodding. I found Hannah in the ball pit, playing with Rydel's sister and her other...friends. Animals is what I should say.
We began walking towards some of the exclusive, one of a kind monkeys.
Nothing to really see. They were just monkeys that were different colors.
"Ugh....This sucks." I said.
"You said it. I don't understand the meaning behind any of it. Not even you were a fan of this stuff.." Ryder said, throwing a monkey back in it's box. We began walking away, trying to not get caught.
Unfortunatly, we were too late.
"Your not going anywhere...."
"Huh?" We both said, turning around and looking to see a rainbow colored monkey on the ground. It floated up, turning into a bigger, real life monkey. It roared at us, getting angry.
"You've defiled the exclusive Rainbow Monkeys..and now you will pay." it said as we began running. I got out my jelly bombs, throwing them at the monkey. Rydel got out his spoke gun, shooting at the thing.
"Look's like we're in trouble." he said. I looked over, seeing a small opening.
"Over there! Let's go!" I said as we began crawling over to the door. The monkey wiped the jelly from it's face, just in time to see us trying to escape.
"Not so fast...! I'm going to turn you all into monkeys!!!!" He said as he ran over to u, stopping as he opened his mouth. A rainbow beam came from mouth, and he ended up hitting Rydel, who saw the attack and protected me.
"Rydel!" I yelled, reaching out to him.
"Go! Get outta here!" He said as he handed me his gun and began to change into a monkey. He pushed me through the door, his last words sounding similar to a monkey's.
I wiped a tear from eyes, a glare coming on my face.
"Alright your stupid monkeys...let's start the party."
~~~~~~~

Everyone was being turned into Rainbow Monkeys...the dolls coming to life.

The purple monkey, who was known as Rydel, helped this tyranny, bonding humans down as hey we're changed. He had a blank look to his face, his sister crying out for him.

"HEY!"

I glared at the monkeys, who didn the same back.

"You guys were supposed fo be cute and stupid...like you are now....So I guess I'll have to knock so me sense into you!" I said as I threw my jelly bombs, jelly explosions making their way throughout the store.

"Stop her!" the big monkey yelled. I threw more grenades as they ran out, and I used the spork gun Rydel gave me.

"Hyaaaaahhhhhh!" I yelled, shooting all the monkeys. "Take this!!!" I said. I made it to the big monkey, my gun about to shoot him until...

"No ammo?!" I yelled. The monkey laughed at me.

"Hold her." He said as the monkeys held me down.

"Lemme go you stupid monkeys!" I yelled.

"You think we're stupid...eh? Well, these stupid monkeys are going to take over the world! You teenagers come in here, call us names, and trash our bretheren. So now...we will do the same to you!....unless..."

".....Unless what...?" I asked.

"Unless you take back what you said and buy a monkey. And tell your teen idiot friends to stop bothering my children...and maybe... we can from an alliance."

I blinked. I was about to say no way, until I looked at the people in the store, and looked at my monkey sister and monkey friend.

"....fine....but you have to change them back...!" I said.

"Deal. Call us when you need us..."

-

"Yay! Now we have matching monkeys! You have the Candy-scented Rainbow Monkey, and I have the same one!!" Hannah grinned as she skipped along with Josie, Rydel's sister.

"I guess you saved the day...but no one remembers but us." Rydel said.
I shook my head.

"I didn't do anything...those monkeys wanted respect...and went to outrageous measures just to get some!"

"True. But, I guess they'll stop...monkeying around...? Eh? Get it?" He asked, nudging me with his elbow. I smiled, sighing.

"Your bad at jokes." I told him as we walked off.

"I'm good...! Just got some monkey juice left in my system." he said as we walked off, not knowing there was another pair or eyes watching from afar.
