Eeveelutions: Coral the Vaporeon

Chapter Two

An hour later, the doorbell rang. Coral got up immediately. 

"Shimmer! Shimmer's here! Shimmer's here!" She called as she ran to greet her cousin. 

She opened the door. A royal purple colored Vaporeon with yellow eyes that almost looked gold stood in the doorway. Coral figured the boys would fall for her immediately.

"Shimmer!" Coral cried happily as she hugged her cousin.

"Coral!" Shimmer called back as she returned the hug.

Shimmer scraped the dirt with her paw. "So, uh, have you got yourself a boyfriend yet?" She asked.

Coral shook her head. "Not yet, unfortunately." She told Shimmer. "But I'm open if anyone's interested." 

"I doubt anyone ever will be." Frost the Glaceon called from her weeding task. "You see, Coral's just an annoyingly talkative Vaporeon with literally nothing special about her."

Coral gave Frost a warning growl, but Frost went on.

"Yeah, last week Coral told Pyro that there was a %99.99999999 percent chance he would attract anyone other than Sunny because he wasn't close to as handsome as Lance or Shadow and plus, Sunny has poor judgement anyway, and that how she got her rear end scales burned off and a nasty burn on her butt." Frost giggled uncontrollably. 

Coral had had enough. How dare Frost think she can embarrass Coral in front of ShimmerQ

"Hey, Frost!" Coral called. 

Frost looked up at Coral. "Huh?" She asked.

"Doing all that yard work must make you thirsty." Coral told her. "Well lucky for you, I have plenty of water in my Hydro Pumps. Oh, what's that? You want some boiling hot water in your face? You're in luck because that's my specialty! Oh? You want it now? Alright!" 

Coral then breathed out scalding hot water from the attack Scald.

Frost shrieked and ran behind a bush, not even trying to counterattack it with Ice Beam.

"I'll make it even hotter next time!" Coral called.

Then Coral turned to Shimmer.

"Come on, Shimmer. Let's go inside." Coral then looked at Frost, Coral's eyes slitted. "Where she isn't."
