Omg I'm so happy I was able to get a chapter out for you guys!!! This chapter is kinda rusty, I was definitely a bit rushed and kinda lost at this part of the story. But it gets better I promise. Anyways love you all enjoy ❤️🥰

"Y/n, I think it's time you learn the truth about my job," Ekko told me.
.
.
"What do you mean the truth about your job?" I asked. He scratched his head and insisted we go inside to talk. He sighed and confronted everything to me about what he's been working. He was speaking a lot it was hard to keep up with. There was something about this drug and what's happening in Piltover. I sort of blurred everything except for one part. My father had been looking for me for nine years, and he never told me or let me know any information about the real world. Once he confronted me, I felt anger. He lied to me for ten years, and I blocked out everything he said afterward.
"- I'm so sorry, Y/n, I just didn't know how you'd take the news, and I just didn't want to break you down."
I stood up angrily. "MY ENTIRE LIFE I'VE ALWAYS WANTED A FRIEND OR A FAMILY SOMEONE I CAN RELY ON SOMEONE WHO WILL NEVER LIE TO ME ABOUT MY GODDAM FATHER LOOKING FOR ME," I yelled at him. I continued to release my anger out on him, cursing him off for every little mistake he made. Once I was done, I had realized. I wasn't acting like myself. I look at him heartbroken and betrayed. I sighed and clenched onto my hair. "I'm leaving," I said while bitting onto my nails.
"Where will you even go?" Said Ekko
I grabbed my coat and right before leaving the building. I spoke hurtfully, "I don't know, I just need time to think." I pushed open the shitty door and noticed little taps on my head. I held my hand out and noticed it was raining. I walked back to the gate to leave this small "sanctuary" he built. I saw the mural all smeared and running down in front of it. I started to feel my checks get soaking wet, not only from the rain but from tears. I licked my cheek and tasted salt. I looked down. All the paint rushed towards a drain, leaving a beautiful mess on the floor. I looked up and started walking. I tried so hard to convince myself not to turn my head around. But I did. I looked back.
I saw Ekko standing inside, watching me through the glass door. I furrowed my brows and continued to face forward and leave. I was utterly drenched wet walking the streets, and everyone was inside their homes or shops. I checked my pockets for extra cash and decided to go for a beer and a tavern not too far from here. I continued to walk to the building in the wet rain. I opened the door, and it was utterly empty, barely anyone out drinking. I sat down by the exact area Alice and I got into that argument a long time ago. I brushed the counter while dripping water over the floor and everything else that came into my contact. I then sat down and ordered a shot.
Then another.
Then another after that one.
Then one after that.
I was completely drunk, and I was so drunk I didn't even notice I started crying. The bar was now empty, and the rain stopped. I suddenly heard the door open but didn't bother to check who it was.
I suddenly heard a raspy feminine voice
" Chuck!" The bartender gasped
"Uh... my name's Thieram."
"Nice try, Chuck!" The feminine voice spoke. She suddenly turned her head to face me as I was sobbing my eyes out over the counter. I heard a thump and turned my head to see her glazing her eyes at me. They were wide and so pretty. I wiped my tears and put a $40 on the counter. I slowly got up,
"Thanks, Thieram. Have a lovely night."
"You too Y/n, tell Ekko I said hello." Once I heard that name, I built my lip and clenched my hands. Then I looked down as I turned around. I didn't want to be seen as a mess. "That won't be happening anytime soon, "I said. I was raising my hand weakly halfway in the air. I pushed the door open. Yep, it stopped raining.
Once the door closed, I stood there as I heard an explosion. I turned my head around to see the same girl in the tavern.
"Hi!" She said as she wiggled her fingers as a wave. I nodded.
"Hello." *Hiccup* I covered my mouth in embarrassment. She giggled. Need somewhere to go? She asked innocently. I couldn't make out her face, but I did recognize her voice. I couldn't quite put a finger in it tho.
"Yeah, kinda I said, rubbing the back of my neck."
I nodded while looking down on the ground of embarrassment. She giggled.
"So you don't remember me?" She spoke curiously. I tried to think.
"Mmm..." I said, tapping my lip. I responded with, "Nope." I couldn't make out who she was from her voice. I tried to focus on her,
"How many fingers am I holding up?" She asked while giggling. I tried to focus on her fingers but felt light-headed.
"No idea, sorry." She let out a loud laugh and linked arms with me.
"Why are you apologizing?" She asked.
"I don't know, hey do you ever just feel like you can't do anything right, so you gotta apologize for it?" She looked at me with a heavy amount of curiosity, and she lightly nodded her head. And then smiled.
