21. Our Family

God...

I have to wake up again...I only slept for two hours, now I have to wake up again.

"I am awake, honey," I said as I slowly opened my eyes.

The sound of crying rang out in my head...And when the ceiling finally appeared in front of me, the sound became clear.

"I'm going to see you, honey" I mumbled and instantly sat up, my instincts allowing me to awaken immediately.

"y/n"

A familiar soft voice called out to me, causing me to immediately turn to look at the owner of the voice.

"Draco" My eyes focused on my husband before roaming to the tiny baby in his hands.

"She won't stop crying." Draco sheepishly looked up at me.

I small smiled as a response, holding my arms out.

Draco got up from the chair by the window and walked towards me.

I quickly tied my hair into a messy bun before taking little Danica from Draco and holding her in my arms.

Last year, three weeks after Christmas, Draco and I got married, and now a year has passed...I gave birth to a little Danica who was now three months old and now Scorpius was four years old.

I slowly got out of bed and walked towards the window.

"Shhh, Danica. I know, I know you are hungry." I whispered hushed condolences to my daughter, rocking her around in my arms as my hands began to unbutton a few buttons.

My hair was a mess. I looked down at my baby, small strands of hair sticking out of my bun. I attempted to brush them away from my face, right before I felt two, strong and familiar arms wrap themselves around my back.

"What are you going to do?" Draco asked, placing his chin on my shoulder.

"She's hungry. I'm going to breastfeed her." I chuckled and glanced at him.

I felt butterflies and tingles form down my back when I felt him touching me, his hair tickled my shoulder as he slowly pulled my shirt off my shoulder and kissed my shoulder once.

"I want to be Danica"Draco whispered.

"Why?"I asked softly.

"Because she drank milk from your nipples, "Draco whispered.

I let out a laugh, leaning my head back.

"Don't say this in front of a baby," I whispered.

Draco chuckled before nuzzling his neck into my shoulder.

I smiled to myself before turning my attention to little Danica again, I slowly positioned Danica on her side so she is directly facing me, with her belly touching mine.

"Shh," I smiled at her before holding her up to my breast.

"y/n"

"Hmm?" I accepted but didn't turn to look at him because my attention was on little Danica.

"Let me help you." He said, helping to pull the shirt off my shoulder more to make room for my breast.

"Thanks," I said and placed my thumb and fingers around my areola before tilting Danica's head back slightly and tickling her lips with my nipple.
