Chapter 2

Flashback to Last night  

Celery Pov 

I was working on a lot of things and preparing for the battle with Tsukasa, but peacefuly. I was glad to have all my friends by my side. Kohaku, Chrome and Gen...they are all my friends.

 I started to stare at the stars and the moon as i was thinking of what i should do next. But with GEN snoring, i can't concentrate! I wanted to wake up gen and tell him to stop snoring or something, but he was probably fast asleep. He look so peaceful sleeping....idk why tho, i never really payed attention. I ended up just going along with it. 

Me and Gen shared a room together. We don't bother eachother and it was no problem. Well, whatever, i need to get some rest anyways.

I layed on my side and for the most part i was able to sleep for at least 10 min. Gen put my hand on his. I turned a bit to see what was going on, he was holding my hand. 

Wait...

M-My... 

HANDDD! 

I tried to just stay a bit calm, but the fact that he was saying cola and Senku-chan, he was sleep talking. What the freak...! Am i just supposed to sit here like this!? 

I fell asleep with my hand to gen's hand and slept rather peacefuly...I...like it? Idk. 

It was a drag not to let him wake up, so i tried my very best to let go of his hand. 

I looked outside and it was now morning. That night....what a night that was. I looked at the sleeping mentalest and just started to.. 

OI MENTALEST! WE HAVE WORK TO DO TODAY SO ARE YOU GOING TO GET UP AND HELP OR KEEP YOUR HEAD DOWN!? 

I don't think i said it that loud, but at least 10 seconds later, i hear, 

"Ok Ok I'm up jezz..."  

I was a bit annoyed at him for not getting up in time but it was fine i guess.  

"Sorry, I just didn't get enough sleep last night..."  I knew instantly that was a lie. He looked like he was lying. 

"Well you were snoring in my ear all night and you held my hand for the entirely of the night, so that all signs of "you can't sleep"? 

I said it with a passion and sarcasem. 

"WH-" he didn't say anything else. I don't blame him, i would feel the same way tbh. Well, he did say something last night that almost wanted me to worry about him...idk...but i heared, 

"Gomen Gomen, I will do my best for our show" 

"I'm Super sorry.......Gomen" 

I was a bit worried, but it might had been a bad dream or something before we got turned into stone, But still, I am his friend after all. So i ended up saying, 

"Well, It's fine, i don't mind anyway. If something is on your mind, I am here. You can tell me anything...ok?!"  

He just nodded. 

"Ok well, come on, everyone is waiting for you!" 

"Ok!" 

I walked out of the room to meet with everybody else. But a feeling in my chest was almost like a sword stabbing into someone. 

But, I couldn't deny it...my heart...my feelings....I was...
