Your parents taught you to rely on your instincts. They taught you that surviving was the most important thing. Even if you have to lose a couple diamonds, your life was more important.

Losing sight of what was truly important cost lives. Your parents knew that all too well and they made sure you did too. So, just why — just why were you risking your life to get to the bottom of ... well, whatever is going on here?

Surprisingly, you think you have a great answer to that question.

You were just curious.

It sounds a bit vain and perhaps selfish, but it's a bit more than that.

Actually, it's much more than that.

You found out that Minecraftia isn't all what it's cracked up to be. This was supposed to be a safe haven. A safe and nurturing place for you and your family to settle down. Here you were, surrounded by people — not hostile mobs, not monsters — but you somehow feel more vulnerable here than anywhere else.

That whole incident with the fire charges at the town square was an eye-opener, even if it was just an 'accident' in the end. You thought you could live on by keeping your head down, but whatever — actually, whoever — was behind the incident almost severely harmed your parents. By your standards, that was unacceptable.

With this, you couldn't help but harbor some distrust towards your fellow townsfolk and most of all, Lillian.

Feeling like you were being watched and scrutinized at every second felt similar to the bone-chilling fear you felt exploring the suffocating caverns near your old home. The distant groans of zombies and the clangs of skeletons still haunt you, but not as much as the chatter of conversations you couldn't decipher.

This feeling... it's not what anyone is supposed to feel in a place of refuge, now is it?

However, you didn't always feel this way.

The same curiosity you feel was once harmless, good even. When your parents told you that you were going to be migrating to a place filled with other humans, you were ecstatic! For so long, it had just been you and your parents. You didn't even know that there were still other people out there. You only were able to read abandoned diaries you found out in the wild about their tales of adventure, and hear your parents' stories about the people they were once travelled with.

You just couldn't wait to meet new people. People around your age. And, you heard so many great things about Minecraftia that you couldn't wait to explore. It was hard for you to imagine a place more ornate and elaborate than those humble villages you've come across.

Minecraftia was going to pioneer the future your parents would say. To this day, you still have no clue what that means. It was something good, you supposed, so you went along with it.

However, your vision of Minecraftia as a new and exciting place was soon shattered by one sinister encounter.

This event happened within the first few weeks you arrived which meant you were only just starting to get used to this place. Mostly, you couldn't get over the fact that most items you needed you could get with a simple barter or favor. Everyone was so helpful and kind to you that it put you in a sort of shock you have never felt before. But, you still ogled at the beautifully built trees that were scattered across town; you couldn't help but stop and stare at the large expanse of farms that stretched themselves in the outskirts of town; and, it was a pleasant surprise to find some hidden gems around Minecraftia.
