Seapia was like if you took a broken down ancient ruined civilization and made it new again.
The marble buildings were shiny and refurbished, the dirt path neat and orderly, there was villagers wondering about going on with daily tasks that stopped to stare as they walked past.
"Beorhtric," Keneln said with the authority of a leader and the soldier that Nico had had a sword point who must have been Beorhtric came over.
"Sir?" He addressed Keneln.
"My Lords," Keneln placed a rough hand on the soldiers shoulder. "Might I introduce my son Beorhtric,"
Beorhtric bowed, "My Lords."
Nico and Will both nodded politely wanting to keep up the regal immortal act.
"Son spread news to the kingdom, tell them we will have a celebration tonight in honor of the deities come to free us." Keneln sent his son on his way.
They continued through Seapia, villagers most definitely staring at them now.
Will figured out how the kingdom got the sea part of it's name, It was right on the edge of a large body of water, not the actual ocean though, if you squinted and looked close enough he could see the other side.
"My Lords," Keneln began removing his helmet, it was similar to a Greek helmet but also decidedly different, it didn't have a horse hair plume like they did and the face wasn't as covered. "Please do not be offended, but the prophecy spoke only of a deity that would free our kingdom when we most needed it, not of a name, might I know how we should call you by so we can properly address you?"
"...Lord Nico." Nico hesitated before just going with his actual name.
"And Lord Will." Will jumped in.
"Thank you Lords Nico and Will, I am most grateful." Keneln bowed again.
They walked along longer Will and Nico sharing glances every now and then.
The other soldiers had dissipated by now and they were left alone with Keneln.
As they continued on They spotted ahead a palace of marble that they seemed to be walking to, they reached the palace rather quickly and Keneln led them through the front gate.
They reached a main looking hall with tall double door.
"My lords, if you wouldn't mind waiting here for a moment." Keneln entered the hall leaving them alone.
"Nico what in Hades have you gotten us into?" Will grumbled.
"It's fine drama queen, we'll talk to whoever they want us to talk to, keep up the act, then leave. Easy." Nico rolled his eyes
"Unless they don't let us leave." Will argued
"Ah, but you see Sunshine, we're powerful, all-knowing gods, they have to do what we say." he reminded him with a slight smirk.
Just as Will was about to retort the doors swung open,
"Lords, Queen Ashina wishes to meet you."
So here's chapter four yayy :))
